1、ENG1 N EERI N G MATERIAL SPECIFICATION PRODUCT ENGINEERING BRASIL Magnetic insulation plates Placas isolantes magnticas 1 Description Bitumen-based material in plates, containing magnetized barium ferrite as mineral component and a surface of paper or plastic film. This material is applied by hot fu

2、sion and used for panel acoustic insulation, such as door panels, inclined areas of floor panels, roof panels and similar applications. Material shall be designed to withstand low temperatures after having been fused on substrate. Contact magnetic strength of parts shall be sufficient to prevent sli

3、ding from its application places. 1.1 Types 1 .I .I EMS.Al.0423 Material as described above for fusion at 130 OC f 5 OC for 15 minutes (SCS) or 140 O C f 5 O C for 17 minutes (Commercial use - SJC). 1 .I .2 EMS.Al.0423-A Material as described above for fusion at 165 O C -t: 5 O C for 20 minutes (Aut

Whitecolored plolyethylene films with approximate thickness of Q.07 mm shall be used as separators to parts which winlain superficial paper without ant

14、rature of 23 O C f 2 O C and relative humidity of 65% f 5%. Loosen parts of test specimens, having 100 mm, are held in this condition for 10 minutes. 2.6 Calcination residues Samples with approximately 5 grams when submitted at temperature of 760 O C f 1 O OC for one hour, shall present residue betw

15、een 70% and 80%. 2.7 Blocking characteristics Submit five superposed test specimens of 200 mm x 50 mm between two steel plates of same dimensions and on the assembly a central load corresponding to 50 test specimens. After 24 hours at temperature of 40 O C 5 2 OC and cooling down at 23 O C 2 2 OC, r

16、emove the load and the upper steel plate, and separate test specimens one by one; without occurrence of rupture, difficult removals, auxiliary films removal, etc. shall not be observed. In case utilization of plastic films as separators on storage is required, these films shall be used between test

29、urs as per GM 4298P. 2.13.2 Humidity exposure Exposure to a wet chamber at 38 O C k 2 O C and relative humidity of 98% t- 2% for 168 hours as per GM 4465P. 2.13.3 Aging Exposure to a air-circulating oven at temperature of 70 O C k 2 O C for 336 hours. 2.14 Magnetic force (Whole part is used for this

30、 test) A quarter of part is fixed by magnetic force on a plate painted with high film build electrocoated primer EMS.9309738 and positioned in horizontal position (see figure Let the other three quarters of part free; the quarter fixed on the plate shall support the whole weight of part, not falling
