2、C POWER TRANSFORMERS Specifications GOST 16555-75 Date of introduction 01.01.77 This Standard applies to stationary three-phase double-wound oil-immersed hermitic general-duty power transformers with capacity from 250 to 2500 kVA for the voltage up to 10 kV, with planar magnetic system, with tap-cha

3、nge operation without excitation (hereinafter referred to as OWE), designed for package transformer substations (hereinafter referred to as PTS), manufactured for the needs of the national economy or for export as componentry. This Standard does not apply to the transformers operating in medium cont

4、aining caustic vapors and gases causing destruction of metal and insulation. (Amended Wording, Amendments Nos. 1, 4, 5 and 7). 1. TYPES, KEY PARAMETERS AND DIMENSIONS 1.1. Types, rated powers and voltages, circuits and groups of winding connection of transformers shall correspond to those specified

By agreement between the consumer and the manufacturer it is allowed to manufacture transformers: - with rated upper voltages (hereinafter referred to a

14、s UV) of 6.3 and 10.5 kV; - of climatic modifications 1 and 1 in accordance with GOST 15150; - for operation at the rated frequency of 60 Hz, and in this case the short circuit voltage increases by 20 %; - with the capacity of 250 and 400 kVA with the circuit of winding connection of /Z-11; - with t

15、he capacity 630, 1000 and 1600 kVA in climatic modifications 3 and 1 in accordance with GOST 15150 and specifications. 2. The transformers designed for export may be manufactured with the rated voltage, circuits and groups of winding connection other than those specified in table 1, according to the

16、 foreign trade organization order. For transformers with the rated low voltages (hereinafter referred to as LV) other than 400 and 690 V, the tolerance of plus 20 % for idling losses shall be established. 3. The specific mass and specific power consumption of transformers shall correspond to those s

17、pecified in Appendix 3. 4. Transformers are produced for two levels of idling losses and idling current. For transformers of the first level the values of idling losses and idling current shall be of no more than those specified in table 2. Maximum deviations shall be in accordance with GOST 11677.

18、The transformers of the first level shall be manufactured from steel of grade 3405 and thickness of 0.30 mm or from other higher-quality steels (of grades 3406, 3407, 3408, etc.) For transformers of the second level the idling losses and idling current values shall be established of more than those

19、specified in table 2 (with maximum deviations in accordance with GOST 11677), but shall not exceed 10 % for idling losses and 30 % for idling current. 5. For the transformers designed before 01.01.84 it is allowed to increase the standardized values of idling losses and current, of mass (including s

20、pecific) and overall dimensions by 15 %, and of specific power consumption by 7 %,. 6. (Removed, Amendment No. 7). 7. For transformers with the capacity of 250 and 400 kVA with the circuit of winding connection /Z-11 and with the capacity of 630 kVA with the circuit of winding connection /-11, it is

21、 allowed to increase the standardized values of short circuit losses correspondingly up to 4200, 5900 and 8500 W. 8. (Removed, Amendment No. 7). (Amended Wording, Amendments Nos. 1 and 5 to 7). 2. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS 2.1. Transformers shall be manufactured in compliance with the requirements of t

22、his Standard and GOST 11677 pursuant to the working drawings approved in accordance with the established procedure. Transformers of climatic modifications 3 and 1 shall also comply with the requirements of GOST 16962.1. 2.2. Rated values of climatic factors shall be in accordance with GOST 11677, GO

23、ST 15150, GOST 15543.1 and GOST 16962.1. (Amended Wording, Amendments Nos. 5 and 7). 2.3. Transformers shall be manufactured of the right-hand and left-hand modifications, and in this case the devices for the level, oil temperature and pressure control shall be located on the side of LV inputs, or t

24、o the right from an axis of transformers (if looking from the side of LV inputs) of the right-hand modification, and to the left from an axis of transformers of the left-hand modification. (Amended Wording, Amendments Nos. 3 and 7). 2.4. Transformers shall be designed for operation for the following

25、 excess of voltage, applied to any winding tap, over the rated voltage for the given tap: -,-,- 16555-75 4 - of no more than 5 % for long-term operation and the capacity not exceeding the rated one; - of no more than 10 % for occasional operation (but no more than 6 hours a day) and the capacity not

26、 exceeding the rated one; - of no more than 10 % for a long-term operation and the capacity not exceeding 0.25 of the rated one for transformers with the capacity up to 630 kVA, and for the capacity not exceeding the rated one for transformers with the capacity of 1000 kVA and more. (Amended Wording

27、, Amendment No. 1). 2.5. The requirements for insulation strength shall be in accordance with GOST 1516.1, and in this case the test voltage for oil-immersed transformers insulation shall comply with the norms set for electrical equipment with normal insulation. (Amended Wording, Amendment No. 7). 2

28、.6. Transformers shall be equipped with switching device in accordance with specifications for switching devices of specific types with a drive brought out on a cover or transformer tank wall. (Amended Wording. Amendment No. 3). 2.7. The rated voltages of UV winding taps of transformers shall comply

29、 with those specified in Appendix 1. 2.8. The allowable sound levels of transformers shall be in accordance with GOST 12.2.024. (Amended Wording, Amendment No. 1). 2.9. An arrangement of inputs on a cover or wall of a tank and the minimal distances between the axes of inputs of transformers shall co

30、mply with those specified in Appendix 2. 2.10. Nitrogen of the I-st grade in accordance with GOST 9293 shall be used for oil protection. 2.11. Transformer oil poured in transformers shall be in accordance with GOST 982 or GOST 10121 (or shall comply with the requirements of specifications). 2.10 and

31、 2.11. (Amended Wording, Amendment No. 7). 2.12. Tanks of transformers shall provide convenience of mating with the device on the side of PTS upper voltage and with the distribution device on the side of PTS low voltage. 2.13. Metal surfaces inside the tank, exerting harmful effect on the oil or exp

32、osed to such effect by the oil, shall have protective coating. (Amended Wording, Amendment No. 7). 2.13a. Oil-immersed transformers with the capacity of 800 kVA and more shall be supplied with thermosiphon filters with the mass of silica gel of no less than 0.5 % of oil mass. It is allowed to instal

33、l cartridges with silica gel in tanks instead of thermosiphon filters. (Subsequently inserted, Amendment No. 5). 2.14. Devices for lifting and handling 2.14.1. Transformers shall have hooks or other devices for lifting of completely assembled and oil-poured transformers. (Amended Wording, Amendment

34、No. 7). 2.14.2. Transformers with the capacity of 800 kVA and more shall have the devices located at the foot of a tank, designed for lifting the transformers with jacks. 2.14.3. Transformers shall have stiffening frames welded to the bottom of a tank. The distances between centerlines of frame chan

35、nels shall correspond to those specified in table. 4. Tanks of transformer

36、s with the capacity of 800 kVA and more shall provide the possibility of slinging when handling. 2.14.2 to 2.14.4. (Amended Wording, Amendment No. 5). 2.15. Armature 2.15.1. Each transformer shall have: - a stopcock or a plug lid in the top part of a tank for blowing-in nitrogen and pressure change

37、in a tank; the use of a plug with an aperture of no less than 20 mm in diameter is allowed for transformers with the capacity up to 630 kVA. - a stopcock or a plug lid or an aperture with a plug in the top part of a tank for nitrogen blow of a tank. N o t e . Hereinafter the term “stopcock” is refer

38、red to as stop armature such as a valve, latch or plate gate. (Amended Wording, Amendments Nos. 3, 5 and 7). 2.15.2. Oil-immersed transformers shall have: - a stopcock in the foot of a tank for pouring and drain of oil with nominal bore of no less than 25 mm; - a device in the foot of a tank for oil

39、 sampling; - a plug in the bottom of a tank for draining of oil residue (Amended Wording, Amendment No. 3). 2.16 Each transformer shall be equipped with: ) oil-level indicator; ) thermometric signaling device, whose case shall be fixed to the tank at a height of no more than 2 m from the level of a

40、base; ) combined pressure and vacuum gauge. 2.17. Transformers shall be equipped with protective device of valve type. (Amended Wording, Amendments Nos. 5 and 7). 2.18. Safety requirements shall be in accordance with GOST 12.2.007.2. 2.19. Reliability requirements shall be in accordance with GOST 11

41、677. (Amended Wording, Amendment No. 5). 2.19.1 to 2.19.3. (Removed, Amendment No. 5). 2.19.4. (Removed, Amendment No. 7). 2.20. To each transformer it shall be enclosed as follows: - spare parts according to the list of the manufacturer; - maintenance documentation (passport, technical description,

42、 operation manual and outline drawing of the transformer) in accordance with GOST 2.601. At the customers request the complete set of the transformer shall include a shielded box for cable connection on the side of UV inputs. (Amended Wording, Amendment No. 1). 2.21. Permissible systematic load and

43、emergency overloads shall comply with GOST 14209 for oil- immersed transformers. (Subsequently Inserted, Amendments Nos. 5 and 7). 3. ACCEPTANCE PROCEDURE 3.1. Acceptance procedure shall be in accordance with GOST 11677 and additional requirements of this Standard. (Amended Wording, Amendment No. 1)

44、. 3.2. The acceptance test program, regarding the test of the device for tap-change operation as an assembly with the transformer, shall include: - check for conformity of transformation ratios for all positions of the device; - verification of mating of the device units mounted on the transformer.

45、(Subsequently Inserted, Amendment No. 1.) 4. TEST METHODS 4.1. Test methods shall be in accordance with GOST 11677. 4.2. Test of transformers for tightness shall be accordance with GOST 3484.5, in this case: - overpressure value shall be of 40 kPa; -,-,- 16555-75 6 - the temperature of the oil top l

46、ayers shall be not lower than 10 C; - test time shall be of no less than 8 hours. Transformers shall be considered to stand the test if no oil leak is detected in welds and seals of a tank and other parts of the transformer, and if primary pressure does not fall below 38 kPa at constant ambient temp

47、erature and barometric pressure. (Amended Wording, Amendments Nos. 1 and 7). 4.3 and 4.4. (Removed, Amendment No. 7). 4.5. (Removed, Amendment No. 5). 5. MARKING, PACKING, TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE 5.1. Marking, packing, transportation and storage of transformers shall be in accordance with GOST 11

48、677. (Amended Wording, Amendment No. 6). 5.2. Transformers transportation conditions regarding climatic factors action shall be in accordance with storage conditions 8 of GOST 15150. 5.3. Transformers storage conditions shall be in accordance with storage conditions 5 of GOST 15150. 5.4. Spare parts storage conditions shall be in accordance with storage conditions 2 of GOST 15150. 5.2 to 5.4. (Amended Wording, Amendment No. 1). 6. MANUF
