This specification covers the properties of 45% glass reinforced heat stabilized, teflon lubricated, pellet form

2、, injection moldable, type 6/1Q nylon copolymer. 2 TEST PROCEDURES. Tests shall be conducted using the latest issue of the test methods indicated. Suitable precautions should be taken to ensure that applicable safe limits are not exceeded when conducting test procedures, processes, and/or handling t

3、he materials required by this specification. 2.1 Test specimens shall be injection molded according to ASTM D 1897. Test specimens shall be 3.2 f 0.2 mm thick un- less otherwise specified in this GMP specification. Izod speci- mens shall be cut from the centers of the 127 x 12.7 x 3.2 mm bars. 2.2 T

4、ests shall bc conducted on dry-as-molded, unconditioned, unannealed test specimens. These specimens are to be sealed in water vapor impermeable containers immediitely after molding and maintained in the sealed containers at 22 f 3C until the time of testing, 24 h min after molding. Tests shall be ma

5、de at 22 f 3C unless otherwise specified. 3 COMPdJND PROPERTIES. 3.1 COMPOUND PROPERTIES (NATURAL). See Table 1. 3.2 COMPOUND PROPERTIES (BLACK). See Table 2. 4 SUGGESTED COMPOUND VERIFICATION. Inherent compound properties and test procedures that may be used to identify this material are listed bel

6、ow. The test value and test procedure requirements are identical to those listed in Section 3, Compound Properties. 7、sion will have its own approved compound list derived from the corporate plastics file. No shipment shall be made by a new source until a sample of the compound manufactured at a production facility has been approved by the appropriate vehicle group and/or component division. Shipment receipt and ce

8、rtification requirements will vary among receiving locations. 5.1 A completed copy of the GM Material Safety Data Sheet (available from a GM laboratory or engineering department) muat be submitted with any new submissions or when a com- position change haa occur&. 6 IDENllFICAllON. The molding compo

9、und shall be identitied by the specification code, the mamt.facturers identification code and lot number, along with any additional vehicle group and component division requirementa. 7 tNSPECTtON AND REJECTtON. The purchaser reserves the right to sample incoming shipments even though it is the respo

10、nsibility of the supplier to meet the requirements stated without dependence upon the purchasers inspection. The supplier (whether prime contractor or subcontractor) will forfeit qualification if a change ia made in material, proceasing methods, testing methods, or location of manufacture without pr
