1、I GENERAL MOTORS ENGINEERING STANDARDS I Materials and Processes - Paint I COATING, ANTICORROSION, PENETRANT, AMBER 9982150 1 SCOPE. This specification covers a corrosion preven- tive material which must provide a protective coating for steel and painted steel surfaces. The material is designed for

2、spray applications to penetrate the crevices to which it is applied. The steel may have been treated with various phosphates, production primers, sealers, and topcoats. Compatibility with each of these substrates in a variety of conditions must not affect the corrosion inhibiting properties of the a

3、nticorrosion coating. It will usually be applied in the post oven areas of normal paint operations. It shall be homogeneous, free of chlorinated solvent, asphalt, or fibrous filler such as asbestos. It shall dry to a permanently soft coating without sagging or refluxing upon itself. The visibility o
