Failure to comply with this Standard will result in legal proceedings This Standard applies to devices for fastening external thermal insulation and arrangement of these devices on stationary steel vessels and equip

5、ment (hereinafter referred to as devices) with a temperature of the medium in the objects from 100 to + 600 C inclusive, no less than 500 mm in diameter, with curvilinear or flat surfaces, used in chemical, oil-chemical, oil- refining, power, and other industries. This Standard does not apply to dev

6、ices used in reservoirs, produced by coiling technique or spherical reservoirs. 1. DESIGN AND DIMENSIONS 1.1. Devices of three modifications shall be produced depending on the type of insulation and method of its fastening: 1 for fastening of insulation up to 100 mm thick with a single pin; 2 for fa

7、stening of insulation up to 260 mm thick with a double pin; 3 for fastening by suspension of prefabricated thermal insulating constructions from 40 to 120 mm thick. Application of the truncated bush, welded using electric bow-contact welding,

20、(see note to figure 15) and clause 2.3.1, for the devices of modification 1 (figure 2), modification 2 (figure 6), and modification 3 (figures 9 and 12) shall be allowed. 1.4. Devices for fastening external thermal insulation shall consist of the welded and removable parts, which are the part of the

21、 equipment. Design, dimensions and weight of the welded parts shall comply with those stipulated in figures 13 to 15 and in table 2. Design, dimensions and weight of the removable parts shall comply with those stipulated in figures 16 to 19 and in tables 3 and 4. Bracket 1Bracket 2 Along the contour

The devices shall be produced in accordance with the requirements of this Standard in accordance with the working drawings approved in accordance with the established procedure. B

28、rackets and bushes shall be welded to the surface of the vessels and equipment at the plant of the manufacturer of the equipment. Removable parts shall be installed during installation of the thermal insulation. 2.2. Material of the welded parts shall be selected depending on the material of the cas

29、e of the vessels and equipment to which these parts are being welded. Removable parts, such as single and double pins, shall be produced from general purpose steel low-carbon wire 5-0-4 in accordance with GOST 3282-74; suspension brackets shall be produced from grade 3 steel in accordance with GOST

30、380-71. When special requirements have been stated, protective coatings of the removable parts shall be selected in accordance with GOST 14007-68 and GOST 14623-69. 2.3. Weld seam of the welded bushes shall withstand no less than 1 200 N cutting force. 2.4. No sharp edges or blisters of the material

31、 shall be present on welded and removable parts. Faces of removable and welded parts shall be at 90 angles to the axis of the part. Traces of processing and dents exceeding the limits established by the Standards for the appropriate range of series, shall be allowed on welded and removable parts. 2.

32、5. Maximum deviations of the length of removable parts shall be in accordance with the class “very rough“ of CMEA Standard 302-76, other dimensions shall be 1 IT15 in accordance with CMEA Standard 144-75. 2.6. Maximum deviations of the dimensions of welded parts shall be 1 IT15 in accordance with CM

33、EA Standard 144-75. 2.7. Arrangement of the welded parts on the bodies of the vessels shall correspond to those in the working drawings. The arrangement of the welded parts is given in Appendix 1 (Obligatory). Tolerance of perpendicularity, which is the maximum deviation of the axis of the welded pa

34、rt from the vertical plane on the vertical equipment, and from the horizontal plane (obliquity) on the horizontal equipment, shall be 2 mm for the whole length of the part. N o t e . Installation of the welded parts on the devices for stringing of the equipment (assembly connecting parts, etc) shall

35、 not be allowed. 2.8. Welded parts inside the supporting shells of the vessels and equipment shall be arranged at a pitch from the weld seam of the shell with the case of the vessel, equal to the value stipulated in Appendix 1 (Obligtory) and figure 1. GOST 17314-81 p. 13 2.9. Changing the pitch of

36、a parts welding by shifting of the part from the edge of the weld seam at a distance equal to the thickness of the vessels or equipment wall, shall be allowed if the welded part gets on the weld seam of the case of the vessel or equipment. In this case, the distance between welded parts, located on

37、both sides from the shifted part, shall be equal to the sum of two given pitches. 2.10. Increase of the closing pitch of the welded parts on more than 0.3 of the pitch shall not be allowed. 2.11. Arranging the welded parts only on the surface, which shall be subjected to insulation, shall be allowed

38、 for insulation of separate parts of the vessels and equipment. 2.12. Types of insulation fastening are given in Appendix 2 (Reference). 2.13. Rules of acceptance of the removable parts shall be in accordance with GOST 17769-72 for the items of rough accuracy. 2.14. Packing of removable parts and ma

39、rking of the containers shall be in accordance with GOST 18160-72. APPENDIX 1 (Obligatory) INSTRUCTIONS ON ARRANGEMENT OF THE WELDED PARTS ON THE VESSELS AND EQUIPMENT 1. Welded and removable parts shall be arranged on the vessels and equipment in the following manner: a) on vertical objects: in ver

40、tical and horizontal direction with a pitch of 500 mm, at a distance from the anchor bolts of flanged connection, welded joints or weld seams, which join bottoms (covers) with the bodies of the vessels and equipment, stipulated in figures 1 to 3; b) on horizontal objects : in horizontal direction wi

41、th a pitch of 500 mm, at a distance from the anchor bolts of flanged connection, welded joints or weld seams, which join bottoms (covers) with the bodies of the vessels and equipment, stipulated in figures 4 and 5; in the vertical direction: with a pitch of 500 mm on the upper half of the object; wi

42、th a pitch of 250 mm on the lower half of the object. Pitch measurement shall be carried out from the plane of the horizontal diameter; c) on the bottoms and covers in accordance with figures 3, 5 and 6 (in accordance with an example of figures 3 and 5 on the conic bottoms and covers); d) on the sup

43、ports of the equipment with a pitch of 500 mm and in accordance with figures 1, 2, 4 and 5. Changing of the welding pitch of arrangement of the welded parts by the value multiple to 500 mm shall be allowed for the device with suspension brackets by agreement between the customer and the manufacturer

When thermal insulation is a finished product manufactured from soft or semi-rigid fibrous materials (mineral wool, glass wool, and asbestos) on joints or facings, it shall be fastened by the device of mo

47、dification 1 (figure1). When layers of the materials are up to 100 mm thick and by the device of modification 2 (figure 4), when layers of the material are from 100 to 260 mm inclusive thick. 2. When thermal insulation is a product consisting of one or two layers of hard materials (boards, segments, etc.) it shall be fastened by the device of modification 2 (figures
