Ihis property class shall apply to all sizes of heat treated carbon steel nuts which are intended for assembly with mating components conforming to GMSOOM(1
9、0.9) or lower strength Ievck. 6 FINISHES. As designated by part number, nuts shall he supplied play plated or coated, in aoxxdancz with the reqxmve GM spedcahons. 6.1 Plain Steel. Plain finish steel nuts shall be clean (free from dirt, rust and procadng compounds) and, unless othcrwist spa5fkd by th
10、e purchaser, coated with a light oil film. 6.2 Determinant of Plating rbicknss. The thickness of pb3Mg or coaang on nuts shall be as determined on the side of the nut Salt spray test requirements shall not apply to the threads of nuts. 6.3 Relief of Embrktlanmt. Plated or coated sted nuts which am s
11、ubject to hydroga cmbrittlanat shall be suitably treated subsequent to the plating or coating opaatm to relieve such embrittlemalt in aaxxdance with the referenced piating spccifions. 7 WORKMANSHIP.
