9、st bas sur lattribution dune lettre prfixe caractrisant les grandes classes de produits ptroliers. Dans ce systme de classification, les produits sont dsigns de faon uniforme. Cette dsignation complte comprend: - le sigle ISO; - la classe du produit ptrolier ou du produit connexe concern, dfinie par

11、or networking permitted without license from IHS -,-,- 1039 0 IEC -5- GENERAL CLASSIFICATION OF INSULATING LIQUIDS 1 Scope This International Standard defines the detailed classification of family N (insulating liquids) which belongs to class L (lubricants, industrial oils and related products) in a
12、ccordance with IS0 8681 and IS0 6743-0. 2 Normative references The following standards contain provisions which, through reference in this text, constitute provisions of this International Standard. At the time of publication, the editions indicated were valid. All standards are subject to revision,
13、 and parties to agreements based on this International Standard are encouraged to investigate the possibility of applying the most recent editions of the standards indicated below. Members of IEC and IS0 maintain registers of currently valid International Standard. IS0 8681 : 1986, Petroleum product
14、s and lubricants - Method of classification - Definition of classes. IS0 6743-0: 1981, Lubricants, industrial oils and related products (class L) - Classification - Part O: General. 3 IS0 general system of classification IS0 8681 outlines the main rules of the classification system. 3.1 As far as po
15、ssible, the criterion selected for the establishment of a classifi- cation should be the field of application. This criterion was adopted for lubricants (see IS0 6743-0). In certain circumstances, this criterion may not be appropriate; in such cases, a classification may be based on the type of prod
16、uct. This criterion was adopted for fuels, which were classified firstly by type and secondly by end use. 3.2 The principle of this classification is based on assigning a prefix letter which charac- terizes the main classes of petroleum products. In this classification system, products are designate
17、d in a uniform manner. The complete designation consists of: - the initials ISO; - the class of the petroleum product or related product, designated by a letter (see the table in 3.3). Selon laccord ISO/CEI, les isolants liquides appartiennent la classe L lubrifiants, 4.2 La catgorie est dsigne par un groupe de deux lettres. Selon laccord ISO/CEI, la premire lettre qui dsigne la famille des isolants liquides est N. La seconde
23、 lettre dsigne le domaine principal dapplication: - C pour les condensateurs; - T pour les transformateurs et lappareillage de connexion; - Y pour les cbles. 4.3 Pour complter la dsignation, on ajoute ce qui suit: le numro de la publication CE1 et la sous-classe CEI. Any following letters taken separately may or may not have a significance of their own but will be defined, in each case, in the International Standard giving the detailed classification of the family or category concerned; - numbers, which may

According to the ISO/IEC agreement, the insulating liquids belong to class L “lubri- 4.2 The category will be designated by a group of two letters, According to the ISO/IEC agreement, the first letter which identifies the family of insulating liquids will be N. The second letter will indicate the
