1、 ENGINEERING STANDARDS Material Specification Plastics GMP.E/P.113 Polyolefin Alloy UV Stabilized, 700 MPa Flexural Modulus, Low Temperature Impact, Injection Molded 1 Scope 1.1 Material Description. This specification covers the properties of a uv stabilized, low temperature, high impact, pellet fo

Approved paint systems that can be used on this material are listed in the GM Approved Paint on Parts Systems (GM APOPS) database. 1.2 Symbol. The material abbrevia

3、tion according to ISO 11469 is E/P. 1.3 Typical Application. Typical applications include the following: low temperature/high impact e.g. garnish trim with ductile to 40C requirements. 2 References Note: Only the latest approved standards are applicable unless otherwise specified. 2.1 External Stand

Important physical, mechanical and thermal properties that characterize the material are summarized in

5、charts. The color shall be specified on drawings, in material specifications and otherwise. Unless otherwise specified, injection molding of test specimens shall be accomplished per ISO 294. Test shall be conducted 40 hours minimum after molding and immediately following a conditioning period of 24

6、hours minimum in a controlled atmosphere of 22 3C and 50 5% RH. All tests shall be performed on unannealed specimens. Tests shall be conducted using the latest issue of the test methods indicated. Suitable precautions should be taken to ensure that applicable safe limits are not exceeded when conduc

7、ting test procedures, processes, and/or handling the materials required by this specification. In case of conflict between accelerated and natural weathering, natural weathering takes precedent. Prior to making measurements and obs

14、ervations on weathered specimens, wash the specimens with a solution consisting of 2g No 7 Car Wash Concentrate (distributed by Armor All Products, Aliso Viejo, CA 92656) and 1 L deionized water 22 3C. Use a soft sponge saturated with the solution and scrub the samples with a firm action. Copyright

17、 Specifications. 5.2 All materials supplied to this specification must comply with the requirements of GMW3059, Restricted and Reportable Substances for Parts. 6 Approved Sources Engineering qualification of an approved source is required for this specification. Only sources listed in the GM Materia

18、ls File (i.e., MATSPC) under this specification number have been qualified by engineering as meeting the requirements of this specification. 7 Coding System This material specification shall be referenced in other documents, drawings, VTS, CTS, etc. as follows: GMP.E/P.113 8 Release and Revisions 8.
