NOTEThe titles of the publications referred
8、 to in this Section are given in the inside back cover. 2 Calculation Calculate the total saponifiable matter as a percentage by mass using the formula: 100 (A + B + C + D) where Ais the percentage by mass of water determined by the method described in BS 684-1.16 for water contents of not less than
9、 0.5 % (m/m) or by the method described in BS 684-2.1 for water contents in the range 0.05 to 1 % (m/m) inclusive or by the method described in BS 684-1.10; Bis the percentage by mass of insoluble impurities determined by the method described in BS 684-2.3 using the solvent appropriate to the fat un
10、der test; Cis the percentage by mass of soap determined by the method described in BS 684-2.5; Dis the percentage by mass of unsaponifiable matter determined by Method 1 described in BS 684-2.7. 3 Test report The test report shall indicate the methods used and the results obtained. It shall also men
11、tion any operating conditions not specified in this Section, or regarded as optional, as well as any circumstances that may have influenced the results.
