The work of preparing International Standards is normally carried out through ISO technical committees. Each me
21、mber body interested in a subject for which a technical committee has been established has the right to be represented on that committee. International organizations, governmental and non-governmental, in liaison with ISO, also take part in the work. ISO collaborates closely with the International E
22、lectrotechnical Commission (IEC) on all matters of electrotechnical standardization. International Standards are drafted in accordance with the rules given in the ISO/IEC Directives, Part 2. Many of these terms are also applicable to light conveyor belts without modification; but these
34、are not included in this part of ISO 21183. This part of ISO 21183 contains only terms applicable to light conveyor belts that are either not included in ISO 5284:1986 or which are included in ISO 5284:1986 but which need modification in one or more of the languages for them to be applicable to ligh
35、t conveyor belts. The terms listed in this part of ISO 21183 are not numbered, as this is not considered essential and thereby avoiding potential confusion with the numbering of terms given in ISO 5284:1986. NOTE 1 In addition to terms used in the three official ISO languages (English, French and Russian), this part of ISO 21183 gives the equivalent terms in German, Spanish, It
42、alian and American English; these are published under the responsibility of the member bodies for Germany (DIN), Spain (AENOR), Italy (UNI) and the USA (ANSI/RMA). However, only the terms given in the official languages can be considered as ISO terms. NOTE 2 The terms are given in English alphabetic
43、al order. The equivalent USA terms, where these differ from the English terms listed, are given in alphabetical order in Annex A.
