9、dies (ISO member bodies). The work of preparing International Standards is normally carried out through ISO technical committees. Each member body interested in a subject for which a technical committee has been established has the right to be represented on that committee. International organizatio
10、ns, governmental and non-governmental, in liaison with ISO, also take part in the work. ISO collaborates closely with the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) on all matters of electrotechnical standardization. International Standards are drafted in accordance with the rules given in the
11、ISO/IEC Directives, Part 3. Draft International Standards adopted by the technical committees are circulated to the member bodies for voting. 17、or the Latin alphabet 1Scope This part of ISO 3098 specifies diacritical and particular marks for the Latin alphabet for use together with the characters shown in ISO 3098-2. These marks are listed in Tables 1 and 2 according to various languages in which they are used. 2Normative reference The foll
18、owing normative document contain provisions which, through reference in this text, constitute provisions of this part of ISO 3098. For dated references, subsequent amendments to, or revisions of, this publication do not apply. However, parties to agreements based on this part of ISO 3098 are encoura
19、ged to investigate the possibility of applying the most recent edition of the normative document indicated below. To obtain constant line density, avoid blotting at intersecting lines and facilitate w
21、riting, the characters shall be formed so that lines cross, or meet, at approximate right angles. 4Examples Special or typical characteristics (dimensions of diacritical marks, positions and spaces according to the relevant character) of lettering according to the various languages are specified in
22、Table 1. The particular marks should be considered as being characters; they are specified in Table 2.
