9、and field of application This International Standard lays down the necessary dimen- sions to allow the installation of service lifts of class V, defined in clause 3 and which are recommended for current use. 2 Reference IS0 419011, Passenger lift installation - Part 1 : Lifts of classes I, II and Il
10、l. 3 Definitions The definitions given in IS0 4190/l are applicable. As a memory aid, one of those definitions is repeated below. “service lift : A permanent lifting appliance serving defined landing levels, comprising a car, the interior of which is inac- cessible to persons on account of its dimen
11、sions and means of construction, running at least partially between rigid guides which are vertical or whose inclination to the vertical is less than 15”.” 4 Characteristics 4.1 Characteristics The characteristics of service lifts of class V recommended for current use are the following : - rated lo
