11、i Linnaeus of the family Umbelliferae. 4 Requirements 4.1 Appearance Mobile liquid. 4.4 Taste Reminiscent of anise, aromatic. 4.5 Relative density at 20/20 OC Minimum : 0,901. Maximum : 0,920. 4.6 Refractive index at 20 OC Minimum : 1,484 0. Maximum : 1,489 0. 4.7 Optical rotation at 20 OC Between +
12、67 and +80. 4.8 Miscibility with 80 % (V/V) ethanol at 20 OC Not more than 8 volumes of 80 % f V/ V) ethanol at 20 0C shall be required to give a clear solution with 1 volume of essential oil. 4.9 Acid value Maximum : 1 ,O. 4.10 Carbonyl value Minimum : 179, corresponding to 49 % of carbonyl com- po
