The work of preparing International Standards is normally carried out through ISO technical committees. Each member body int
22、erested in a subject for which a technical committee has been established has the right to be represented on that committee. International organizations, governmental and non-governmental, in liaison with ISO, also take part in the work. ISO collaborates closely with the International Electrotechnic

38、lishes a vocabulary of terms related to the basic structures and knitting elements of flat warp knitting machines: their types, sides and dimensions, frame, knitting elements and the driving mechanisms for those elements, units, bars and rails. NOTE 1 The figures in this part of ISO 8640 illustrate
39、the working principles of the various aggregates. They do not represent the only, or even the most common, arrangements. In any case, to the extent technically possible, these devices are able to be combined. NOTE 2 In addition to terms used in English and French, two of the three official ISO langu
40、ages, this part of ISO 8640 gives the equivalent terms in German; these are published under the responsibility of the member body for Germany (DIN).
