The work of preparing International Standards is normally carried out through IS0 technical committees. Each member body

4、interested in a subject for which a technical committee has been established has the right to be represented on that committee. International organizations, govern- mental and non-governmental, in liaison with ISO, also take part in the work. IS0 collaborates closely with the International Electrote

5、chnical Commission (IEC) on all matters of electrotechnical standardization. Draft International Standards adopted by the technical committees are circulated to the member bodies for voting. Publication as an International Standard requires approval by at least 75 % of the member bodies casting a vo

6、te. International Standard IS0 8686-5 was prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 96, Cranes, Sub-Committee SC 9, Bridge and gantry cranes. More flexible load bearing systems and more sophisticated speed control systems may allow the selection of a lower hoisting class than indicated in table 3. There may be case

25、s where a higher hoisting class is appropriate. 7 Combination of acceleration effects In the case of overhead travelling and portal bridge cranes, the load is moved by hoisting (H), travelling (Lt), traversing (Ct) and, possibly, by slewing (SI) mechanisms. (See figure I.) The acceleration effects o

26、f these mechanisms acting simultaneously on the crane depend on the control systems and service conditions of the crane and whether a load is hoisted from the ground or a suspended load is hoisted. The gross loads shall be multiplied within the individual load combinations by the following factors: - load combinations Al and Bl : Q2 - load combinations A2 and 82: & - load combinations A3 and B3: (1 +r#%xg - load combinations A4 and 84: G4 - load combination C3: G6 Drive forces can change sig

29、nificantly in a short time interval. Thus the accelerations shall be calculated a) for starting the movement, b) for braking the steady-state movement, and c) for braking the movement during the starting process, or d) for accelerating the movement during the braking pro- cess (positioning). Thus th

30、e calculated rigid body acceleration forces shall be multiplied by the factor G5 in accordance with IS0 8686-l : 1989, 6.1.4. When considering the positioning effects, only one such effect is combined with other movements. In load combination C6 or C7, only the dynamic effects of the “emergency cut-

31、out” or of the “failure of mechanism or com- ponents” shall be considered without other dynamic effects, assuming the case of starting during steady-state motion.
