The work of preparing International St
23、andards is normally carried out through ISO technical committees. Each member body interested in a subject for which a technical committee has been established has the right to be represented on that committee. International organizations, governmental and non-governmental, in liaison with ISO, also
24、 take part in the work. ISO collaborates closely with the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) on all matters of electrotechnical standardization. International Standards are drafted in accordance with the rules given in the ISO/IEC Directives, Part 2. The main task of technical committee
25、s is to prepare International Standards. Draft International Standards adopted by the technical committees are circulated to the member bodies for voting. Publication as an International Standard requires approval by at least 75 % of the member bodies casting a vote. Attention is drawn to the possib

Llaboration des Normes internation

35、ve been unintentionally introduced into the fabric. The presence of one or other of these characteristics in a knitted fabric does not automatically imply that the fabric is substandard. Textile suppliers and purchasers will still have to reach agreement on whether a defect is present. If it is cons
36、idered that a defect is present, they will then have to agree on the limits of the defect and on any allowance to be made, bearing in mind the intended use of the fabric. La prsence de lune ou lautre de ces caractristiques dans une toffe mailles nimplique pas automatiquement que ltoffe est de qualit infrieure. Les fournisseurs et les acheteurs de textiles doivent encore arriver un acco
39、rd sur la prsence dun dfaut. Sils considrent quun dfaut est prsent, ils doivent encore se mettre daccord sur les limites du dfaut et sur toute tolrance permise ce sujet, en ne perdant pas de vue lusage prvu de ltoffe. 42、s Description des dfauts Vocabulaire 1 Scope This International Standard describes defects which commonly appear during the inspection of knitted fabrics. A defect is a fault that would reduce the expected performance of the knitted fabric or, if it appeared in a prominent position in an article mad
43、e from the fabric, would readily be seen and rejected by a prospective purchaser. Except where otherwise stated the descriptions apply to defects appearing in both weft-knitted and warp-knitted fabrics. NOTE In addition to terms used in two of the three official ISO languages (English and French), t
44、his International Standard gives the equivalent terms in the German language in Annex A; these are published under the responsibility of the member body for Germany (DIN). However, only the terms and definitions given in the official languages can be considered as ISO terms and definitions. 1 Domain
