Scope This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the method of determining the dimensional tolerances on the diameter of reamers used mainly for iron and steels in the case where the per- missible devi
5、ations in the bore diameter of the workpiece is given. Remarks 1. The permissible deviations in the diameter of reamers shall conform to m5 un- less otherwise specified. However, because the over size of a reamer-finished bore diameter and the tool life vary with the workpiece, the machine and reame
6、r used, and the cutting conditions, the permissible deviations in the diameter of reamers must be determined by taking these factors into consideration. 2. The contents of this Standard coincide with those of IS0 522. 2. Definition The definitions of the main terms used in this standard shall be as

Tc

14、 (2) Tolerance on reamer diameter Tc = 0.35 Tw = 0.35 X 0.018 mm = 0.0063 mm hence, Tc = 0.007 mm (value after rounding up) (3) Over size of bore diameter To = 0.15 Tw = 0.15 X 0.018 mm = 0.0027 mm hence, To = 0.003 mm (value after rounding up) (4) Maximum permissible dimension of reamer diameter Ac
