14、75, the net of synthetic fibre came to be used for pre- venting the bolts, tools and the like from falling at the time of steel frame construc- tion, because of its advantages such as recyclability, lightweight and handiness. And recently it is used at the construction site of high-rise buildings, c

15、ondominiums, shopping centres and the like. This time, for the purpose of unifying the quality and performance of the vertical protective net for construction work and ensuring the quality, this Japanese Indus- trial Standard has been established. 1 This Standard specifies the vertical protective ne

16、t for construction work (hereafter referred to as “vertical net”) prepared by using the woven or knitted net of which the main material is the woven net fabric of synthetic fibre. The dimen- sions of mesh of vertical net shall be limited to 13 mm or over up to and including 18 mm. The sheets of canv

17、as or sheets of net fabric of 12 mm or under in mesh are specified in JIS A 8952. 31、min. 3 kN min. Not penetrate. 5 . 1 a) Appearance The hem rope and reinforcing rope shall be passed through the meshes with uniform intervals without skipping. The net fabric shall be free from the detrimental defects to use such as cut, break, distortion of shape, slippage of mesh, irregularities i

32、n knitting or weaving. The appearance of vertical net shall be as follows: b) Flame resistance property 5.2 conformed to the requirements in table 2. 35、he penetration resistance test, all specimens to be used for the test shall be conformed. 6 Structure The structure of vertical net shall satisfy the following requirements. The vertical net shall consist of net fabric with hem rope, fixing rope and rein- forcing rope, and shall be constructed so th

36、at the ropes are not easily detached from net fabric, for example, the hem rope shall be passed through the second line of the meshes from the hem (see figure 6). The diameter of hem rope, fixing rope and reinforcing rope shall be at least 6 mm. When the length of vertical net exceeds 14 m, the rein

37、forcing ropes shall be fixed to the net at the rate of one per 14 m or less. The fixing ropes shall be fixed to the four corners of vertical net, and when the vertical net exceeds 7 m in dimension, they shall also be fixed to the hems at the rate of one per 7 m or less. The specimen for the test shal

41、l be the sufficient size to take the test pieces, sampled from the portion at least 50 cm from the end of net fabric, left in the laboratory in standard condition for a whole day and night as it is. Three test pieces of 15 meshes shall be taken each in lateral and longitudinal directions from the sp

42、ecimen conditioned in the laboratory in standard condi- tion, and the dimension of 10 meshes shall be measured while being applied 5 N of initial load. Each average value of three measurements in lateral and longitudinal directions shall be converted into the dimension per one mesh and expressed to

46、ctions from the specimen conditioned in the laboratory in standard condition, and the ten- sile strength at break shall be measured by the constant-rate-of-extension ten- sile tester and expressed by the lowest value. i) The net yarns of knotted net fabric, knotless net fabric or woven net fabric sh

47、all be put together closely as much as possible and fixed to the upper clamp correctly. Then, the other end of test piece shall be fixed to the lower clamp without unnatural slack, and the measurement of straight tensile strength shall be carried out at 20 cm to 30 cm in clamp intervals and 20 cmmin
