Scooe This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the drain with traps (hereafter reffered to as the I1trapsl) used for equipment units (bathroom, draining board for kitchen, etc. ) mainly for residence. Remarks 1.
5、 Applicable Standards to this Standard are shown in Attached Table 1. 2. In this Standard the units and numerical values shown in 1 are in accordance with traditional units and are for informative reference values. 2. Classification Traps shall be classified into 2 types of type P trap and type bell
6、 trap, for bathroom there are traps having basket strainer and without basket strainer and for kitchensink there are those having and without dirt storing function. 3. 14、 vibration of traps due to pneumatic pressure variaLon in drain pipe at draining time. 5.5 The minimum wall thickness of body shall be. as given in Table 2. Materials . 7.1 The cast iron shall be class 2 (symbol FC 150) specified in JIS G 5501 or that equivalent or superior thereto. 7.2 The synthetic resin having sufficient performance according to t

24、se specified, the ordinary temperature and ordinary humidity. 8.3 Watertight test (1) As to the cast iron apply the water pressyre of 35.0 Pa (3.6 kgf/cm2) or air pressure of 15.0 Pa 11.5 kgf/cm2), and to synthetic resin and stainless steel apply water pressure of 8.0 Pa (0,8 kgf/cm2) or air pressur
25、e of 3.50 Pa (0.36 kgf/cm2), and examine for leaks and other abnormalities. 27、8.4 Heat resistance test Seal tightly the exhaust water opening, fill fully with hot water at 8OoC or more in the trap and leave as it is for 30 min, take this operation as one cycle, repeat this operation three cycles in total and examine for leaks and other abnormalities. 8.5 Heat impact resistanc
28、e test After leaving the trap in the atmo- sphere at approximately -2OOC for 1 h, immediately immerse into hot water at 8OoC, carry out natural cooling for 30 min and examine for abnormalities. However, relating to leak, carry out the test of 8.3. 8.6 Impact test Place the water preventive pan or wa
29、ter tank on the concrete floor of 10 c m or more in thickness, set 8 strainer, fall down naturally a sand bag of 7 kg in mass specified in JIS A 5704 with its semi-spherical part down from the height of 50 cm to the strainer and examine for the existence of abnormalities. 0 8.7 Water discharge test
30、8.7.1 Set the trap at water preventive pan or water tank, close the trap outlet according to a suitable method, and under the condition where water is filled up to the height of 50 mm from the strainer of trap, measure the water discharge capacity (ilmin) of trap. 8.7.2 Store the water of 20 i in th
31、e water tank attached with trap. Next, remove the lid at once to discharge water and measure the time required for water discharge. 9. Inspection The trap shall be inspected relating to 4.
