Scope This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the reflex type water gauge
5、s used for boilers having maximum working pressures of not more than 25 kgf/cm2 (2.5 MPa), hereinafter referred to as the “water gauges“. Remark: The units and numerical values given in 1 in this Standard are in accordance with the International System of Units (SI), and are appended for informative
6、 reference. 2. Materials The materials used shall be as shown in the table. 10、 = 2 B 8213-1974 3, Construction y Shape, and Dimensions The construction, shape y and dimensions shall meet the following requirements except as shown in Appended Table. (1) The connecting method for the water gauge body shall be by coupling tubes, (2) The flatness of the glass engaging area shall
11、be not more than 0.05 mm. (3) The glass tap bolts shall conform to Grade 2 of JIS B 1180. (4) The thickness of the gasket (for glass) shall be 1.5 mm. 4, P.ressure Resistance Water gauges shall withstand the test hydraulic pressure of 50 kgf/cm2 (5 MPa for 2 min or longer and shall not produce leaka
12、ge from the respec- tive parts and other abnormalities, 5. Designation of Products Products of water gauges shall be designated by the standard title and the nominal number of the glass. Example: For a product of 250 mm glass length Reflex type water gauge for boilers B 250 6. Marking surface of wat
