4、 INDUSTRIAL STANDARD J I S Building Components (Steel Panel for Wall) A 6503-1975 1 b Scope This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies steel panels for walls () to be used for the walls of one or two story houses which are manufactured at a factory and which employ steel materials in structural pri

5、ncipal parts. 2. Note (1) The ttpanels“ described inthis standard mean the panel for wall which is made up by attaching a wall surface material to a steel frame and which is a base forming a plane. Panels to be used for the wall upper than picture rail, wainscot wall, spike etc. and panels to be sup

6、plementarily used as forming a wall surface are not included, Remark: In this standard the particulars in 1 are in accordance with the International System of Units (SI) and given for reference only. Materials Of the materials to be used for panels, those shown in Table 1 shall be equivalent to or b

Classification of Panels The panels shall be classified with the symbols shown in Table 2 according to the structural strength, shapes and positions used. Manufacture 5.1 Steel Frame (1) Steel material with a remarkable deformation shall not be used. (2)

36、 Manufacturing work and assembly shall be accurately performed with jigs and others. 5.2 Wood Frame Machining and manufacturing work of wood material shall, as a rule, be done in accordance with JIS A 6504. 5.3 Attaching Surface Materials The surface materials shall be attached to the the frame and

37、sash bars by nails, adhesives etc. 5.4 Protection and Curing Steel panels shall be properly protected and cured to avoid flaws, dirt and breakage during storage and transportation after completion. Remarks I . Jigs shall be periodically checked to maintain the specified accuracy at all times. 2. In

38、case when panels are assembled with adhesives and used at a place where they are subject to moisture and water, a water-proof adhesive agent shall be used. 6. Appearance and Performance 6 .I Appearance The panels shall be free from such defects as harmful flaws, torsion, warp, etc. in their construc

39、tion o r finish. 6.2 Performance The performance shall be determined with respect to the following items. 6.2 .I Heat Insulating Property The steel panels for external walls shall conform to the specification of resistance of heat transmission shownin Table 5 when it is tested for each class with th

40、e test sample described in 7.1 by the testing method shown in 7.2.1 .
