This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the depth gauges of 300 mm or under in maximum measuring length, among the depth gauges for general use which measure the depth dimensions by 0.05 mm, 0.02 mm or 0.01 mm in scale interval, minimum indication amount or minimum reading value (here

5、after referred to as “depth gauges“). Scope Remarks: The standards cited in this Standard are the following: JIS B 7503 Dial gauges reading in 0.01 mm JIS B 7506 Gauge blocks JIS B 7513 Precision surface plates JIS B 7533 Dial test indicators (lever type) JIS G 4303 Stainless steel bars JIS G 4401 C

Material SUS 420 52 of JIS G 4303 SK 2 to SK 6 of JIS G 4401 7 B 7518-1993 The main scale shall be smooth and be free from loosening in operation over entire area of working range, and be free from harmful play. The sensitive feed shall be capable of being locked

37、 securely to the main scale by the fixing device (locking screw or the like). That of electronics type digital indication, when either the main scale is travelled at a speed exceeding the permissible value, or any wrong indication is indicated due to voltage drop, shall have function to indicate cle

38、arly that its value is a wrong one. For that of electronics type digital indication, when it has function to output .the indication values as the measured data, the treatment system of its data output shall be stated in detail in the instruction manual or the like. Materials and hardnesses 11.1 The

39、materials of the principal parts of the depth gauge shall be those given in Table 6 or those equal to or superior to these in mechanical proper- ties. Materials 0 Table 6. 47、2, apply the measuring pointer of dial gauge or lever type dial gauge to the measuring surface of main scale, measure by travelling in the left and right, and obtain the difference between the maximum value and the minimum value acquired. Attach the main scale to the measuring device so that it beco

48、mes vertical to the precision surface plate, measure by travelling the measuring pointer of lever type dial gauge on the measuring surface of base in parallel direction to the graduation surface of main scale, and obtain the difference between the maximum value and the minimum value acquired.
