3、er of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry through deliberations at the Japanese Industrial Standards Committee, as the result of proposal for revision of Japanese Industrial Standard submitted by Japan Association of Rolling Stock Industries (JARI)/Japa

4、nese Standards Association (JSA) with the draft being attached, based on the provision of Article 12 Clause 1 of the Industrial Standardization Law applicable to the case of revision by the provision of Article 14. Consequently JIS E 6602 : 1989 is replaced with this Standard. Attention is drawn to

5、the possibility that some parts of this Standard may conflict with a patent right, application for a patent after opening to the public, utility model right or application for registration of utility model after opening to the public which have technical properties. 13、in rolling stocks to carry out cooling and/or heating by circulating the air inside the rolling stock (hereafter referred to as ?air conditioner?). Scope 2 Normative references The following standards contain provisions which, through reference in this Standard, constitute provisions of this Standar

14、d. The most recent editions of the standards (including amendments) indicated below shall be applied. JIS C 1502 Sound level meters JIS C 1505 Precision sound level meters JIS E 4001 Railway rolling stock-Vocabulary JIS E 4014 Test methods for insulation resistance and withstand voltage of railway r

15、olling stock JIS E 4031 Railway rolling stock parts-Test methods for vibration JIS Z 8704 Temperature measurement-Electrical methods 3 Definitions 4001 apply. For the purposes of this Standard, the definitions given in JIS E 4 Items designated by the purchaser The purchaser shall designate the fol-

16、lowing items in a deal or an order. The final specification shall be subject to agree- ment between the interested parties. a) The class, type and the like of the rolling The division based on the part to which an air conditioner Classification of rolling stock stock to which an air conditioner is t

Further, the protection device shall be free from abnormality. Over

27、load power consumption when cooling When the test of 7 e) is car- ried out, the power consumption shall not exceed the value agreed between the interested parties. Low temperature performance when cooling When the test of 7 f) is car- ried out, the protection device of electric current, temperature,

28、 pressure and the like shall not operate. Further, the protection device shall be free from ab- normality. Furthermore, there shall be no ice blocks, water droplets or the like falling from the air conditioner into the car. Enclosure sweat When the test of 7 g) is carried out, the protection device

29、for electric current, temperature, pressure and the like shall not operate. Fur- ther? no abnormality shall be found in the protection device. Furthermore, there shall be no dripping or blowing out and the like of dew from the air conditioner into the car. Voltage fluctuation performance when coolin

Rated heating capacity of heater When the test of 7 q) is carried out, the heating capacity of heater shall be at least the rated value.

38、 Heating voltage fluctuation performance of heater When the test of 7 r) is carried out, the protection device for electric current, temperature, pressure and the like shall not be operated. Further, an abnormality shall not be found in the protection device. The temperature of components adjacent t

39、o heat insu- lating material shall not exceed the tolerable value. Heating power consumption of heater When the test of 7 s) is carried out, the power consumption shall not exceed the value agreed between the inter- ested parties. Confirmation of heating temperature of heater When the test of 7 t is

40、 carried out, the temperature of a structure around the heater, heat insulating material and the like shall not exceed the tolerable value. Winding temperature of motor in heating of heater When the test of 7 u) is carried out, the winding temperature of the motor shall not exceed the value in table

41、 4. Resistance to vibration When the test of 7 v) is carried out, abnormalities such as leakage of refrigerant, falling down of screws and the like shall not occur. Insulation resistance When the test of 7 w) is carried out, the insulation resistance shall be 2 MQ or over. Withstand voltage shall wi

Starting characteristics When the test of 7 y) is carried out, the protection device for electric current, temperature, pressure and the like shall not be op- erated. Further, the protection device shall be free from abnormality. Leakage of refrigerant refrigerant
