13、roduct grades A, 3 and C Introduction This Japanese Industrial Standard has been prepared based on the second edition of IS0 4759-1 : 2000 Tolerances for fasteners-Part 1 : Bolts, screws, studs and nuts-Product grades A, I3 and C published in 2000 without modifying the technical contents. 1 This Sta
14、ndard specifies a selection of tolerances for bolts, screws, studs and nuts with IS0 metric threads and with product grades A, B and C and for tap- ping screws with product grade A. The product grades refer to the size of the tolerances where grade A is the most precise and grade C is the least prec

In addition, symbols which denote the degree of correspondence in the contents between the relevant International Standard and JIS are IDT (identical), MOD (modified), and NEQ (not equivalent) according to ISOAEC Guide 2
16、1. IS0 4759-1 : 2000 Tolerances for fasteners-Part 1 :Bolts, screws, studs and nuts-Product grades A, B and C (IDT) The tolerances, except tolerances for threads, are selected from the system of limits and fits specified in JIS B 0401-1 and JIS B 0401-2. The tolerances for metric threads are taken f
17、rom the series of tolerance classes specified in JIS B 0209-3. The tolerances for tapping screw threads are covered in JIS B 1007. The tolerances of form and position are specified and indicated in accordance with JIS B 0021, JIS B 0023 and JIS B 0024. The tolerances specified in this Standard apply
18、 to fasteners prior to coating un- less otherwise specified. See also JIS B 1044. Deviations from the tolerances specified in this Standard are only permitted in product standards where there are valid technical reasons. In cases where there is a difference between the tolerance requirements in this
19、 Standard and the product standard, the product standard takes precedence. It is recommended that these tolerances also be used for non-standard fasteners. Dimensions and tolerances given in this Standard are in millimetres. Scope NOTE 1 NOTE 2 2 Normative references The following standards contain

Guides shall have such an accuracy that errors due to the guides during inspection are negligible compared to the workpiece tolerance t (e.g. less than
46、10 % oft). If the datum is not associated with the maximum material requirements, indi- cated by 0, the following applies: - when the datum is an external thread, the major diameter axis (MD) or the pitch diameter axis (PD) is the datum as specified in this Standard. When the datum is the major diam

Another possibility is to use a ta- pered threaded mandrel for this purpose; - when the datum is a plain shaft or a tapping screw
48、thread it may be fixed in a 3 jaw chuck regardless of the feature size. C.2 Gauges and other measuring devices NOTE : All gauges given in this annex are GO gauges. Diameter d, if exis- tent, should be chosen by the gauge manufacturer. The gauges and measuring devices given in this annex are intended for the veri- fication of geometrical tolerances specified in 3.2, 4.2 and 5.2. Each gauge and measuring device is allocated to one or more figures in the main, body of this Standard in order to make clear which tolerance is verified by which gauge or measuring device. Note (1) M
