、005 Foreword This translation has been made based on the original Japanese Indus- trial Standard revised by the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry through deliberations at the Japanese Industrial Standards Committee as the result of proposal for revision of Japanese Industrial Standard submitte

、d by The Japan Iron and Steel Federation (J1SF)Japanese Standards Association (JSA) with the draft being attached, based on the provision of Article 12 Clause 1 of the Industrial Standardization Law applicable to the case of revision by the provision of Article 14. Consequently JIS G 3193 : 1990 is

、replaced with this Standard. This Standard has been made based on IS0 7452 : 2002 Hot-rolled structural steel plates-Tolerances on dimensions and shape for the purpose of making it easier to compare this Standard with International Standard; to prepare Japanese Industrial Standard conforming with In

、strial Standard has been prepared based on the second edition of IS0 7452 Hot-rolled structural steel plates-Tolerances on dimen - sions and shape published in 2002 with some modifications of the technical contents. The portions given sidelines or dotted underlines are the matters modified from the

、original International Standard. A list of modifications with the explanations is given in annex 2 (informative). 1 Scope This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the dimensions, mass and tol- erances thereon of the hot rolled steel plate, sheet and strip as well as the appearance, shape and perm

、issible variations thereof. However, this Standard is not applicable to the flat steel. This Standard is applicable to the relevant product standards. Remarks : The International Standard corresponding to this Standard is as fol- lows. In addition, symbols which denote the degree of correspondence i
