Scope This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the pressure type fuel oil reciprocating solenoid pumps of not more than 25 Z/h in the maximum discharge quanti

5、ty ( 2at a discharge pressure of 700 kPa (7 kgf/ cm2, hereinafter referred to as the “pumps“ , to be used mainly for burners for kerosene () , hereinafter referred to as the ftoilff. Notes (l) (2) The kerosene is the kerosene No. 1 specified in JIS K 2203. The maximum discharge quantity is the maxim

6、um value of quantity of kerosene discharged from a burner nozzle or a throttling mechanism corresponding thereto (see 8.1 and 8.3.1). Remarks 1. Construction 4.1 Construction in General The pump shall be composed of the body, plunger, piston, cylinder, springs, solenoid coil, suction valve, discharge valve, suction opening, discha

23、rge opening, strainer, etc. and shall comply with the following requirements: (1) No external oil leakage from each sealing part shall be caused. (2) The pump shall be easily attached and detached by using general tools. Examples of construction are shown in Attached Figs. 1 and 2. 4.2 Body The body

24、 shall have sufficient strength in use. 4.3 Plunger, Piston and Cylinder The plunger, piston and cylinder shall be those which are smooth in operation during running and are not likely to cause abnormalities such as sticking and abormal sounds. 4.4 Springs The springs shall be those which have suffi

25、cient strength in use and are not likely to cause breakage and the like. 4.5 Solenoid Coil The solenoid coil shall be as follows: (1) No deformation, cracks, and the like shall ocurr owing to heating under normal running. (2) It shall be insulated sufficiently. (3) The length of lead wires of the so

26、lenoid coil shall generally be 100 to 600 mm. 4.6 Suction Valve and Discharge Valve The suction valve and discharge valve shall be smooth in their opening and closing operations. 4.7 Suction Opening and Discharge Opening The suction opening and discharge opening shall be provided with threaded fitti

27、ngs, and these shall be as specified in Table 5. Appearance The appearance of the pump shall be such that the finishing on each portion is excellent and free from cracks, and from defects, such as flaws, cavities and fins, which are harmful to the use of the pump. Furthermore, the materials which are likely to generate harmfu

34、l rust to use shall be processed with suitable rust preventive. 7. Tests 8.1 Test Conditions The test conditions, unless otherwise specified, shall be as follows: (i) The test oil temperature and the amb

38、ient temperature shall be 5 to 35oc. (2) The power source shall be of the rated voltage and the rated frequency. (3) The discharge pressure shall be 700 kPa (7 kgf/cm21. 8.2 Test Apparatus The test apparatus shall be as follows: (i) The test apparatus shall be as shown in Fig. 2. Fig. 2. Test Appara

41、cteristic test , respective discharge quantities of a test pump shall be examined, applying the voltage of 90 % and 110 % of the rated voltage after the pump has been tested in accordance with 8.3.1. 8.3.7 Insulation Resistance Test In the insulation resistance test, the insulation resistance betwee

42、n the lhe part and non-live part shall be mea- sured with the 500 V insulation resistance tester specified in JIS C 1301 or JIS C 1302. 8.3.8 Withstand Voltage Test In the withstand voltage test , the pump shall be examined whether it can withstand the voltage or not, applying the voltage in the for

43、m like a sine wave of either 50 Hz or 60 Hz, as given in Table 7, between the live part and non-live part. Table 7. 44、with oil in a lower temperature tank maintained at - 20 0 2 O C for five hours , and conduct the following test , keeping the pump as it is: (1) Starting Characteristic In shall be examined whether the pump can start or not by applying a current under a voltage of 90 % of the rated voltage. (2) Maxi

45、mum Discharge Quantity The maximum discharge quantity test of 8.3.1 shall be carried out under the conditions of (3) in 8.1. The testing shall be carried out, placing the oil tank inside the low tempera- ture tank and the measuring device outside the low temperature tank. 8.3.10 High Temperature Cha

46、racteristic Test In the high temperature characteristic test, immediately after operating a test pump in a thermostatic tank at 60 2 2OC for 24 h under the conditions specified in (2) and (3) of 8.1, conduct the discharge test in the manner of 8.3.1 and the test specified in 8.3.2, keeping the pump
