4、cifies the wafer type rubber- seated butterfly valves (hereafter, referred to as “valves“.) to be used for pipings for general equipments such as mechanical equipments, building equipments and water treatment. However, this does not apply to those for ships and water works. Remarks 1. The standards

Nominal diameters 65 mm, 80 mm, 100 mm, 125 mm, 150 mm, 200 mm, 250 mm, 300 mm, 350 mm, 400 mm, 450 mm, 500 mm and 600 mm. Working ranges The types shall be two types of the central type

The structure of the driving apparatus shall be of manual or automatic type, and shall be as given in the following. As to the opening and clo

33、sing of the valve, the counterclockwise turning of the handwheel shall be defined as the “opening“, and the clockwise turning as the “closing“. The driving apparatus shall be provided with an apparatus capable of identifying the opening and closing of the valve. The driving apparatus shall be provid

34、ed with a stopper so that the valve disc stops correctly at the prescribed position of the “open“ or “close“. For the valve to be used at the intermediate opening, it should preferably be provided with a locking device. However, except where the driving apparatus itself has the locking function. Whe

The tolerances on the face-to-face

38、: The series numbers given in Table 2 conform to JIS B 2002. (2) The connections with the pipe flanges shall be those conforming to the 10 K flanges or 16 K flanges of JIS B 2210. (3) In order to prevent the interference with the pipings, when the valves have been opened fully, the valve disc shall

(3) The permissible stress, in the case of iron castings and aluminum, shall be 1/5 the minimum tensile strength, and in the case of iron and steel series and copper alloy series, shall be of 1/3.
