3、through deliberations at the Japanese Industrial Standards Committee in accordance with the Industrial Standardization Law. Consequently JIS C 2336 : 1991 is replaced with JIS C 2336 : 1999. In this revision, conformance with the corresponding International Standard IEC 60454-3-1, Pressure-sensitive

8、, Pressure-sensitive adhesive tapes for electrical purposes-Part 3 : Speci- fications for individual materials-Sheet 1 : PVC film tapes with pressure-sensitive adhesive published in 1998 as the second edition, however the provisions (for classi- fication, designation and class A performance) which a

9、re not specified in the corre- sponding International Standard are added. 1 Scope This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies pressure-sensitive adhesive polyvinyl chloride tapes for electrical purposes (hereafter referred to as Ytapesn). Remarks : The International Standard corresponding to this St

10、andard is given below. IEC 60454-3-1 : 1998 Pressure-sensitive adhesive tapes for electrical purposes-Part 3 : Specifications for individual materials-Sheet 1 : PVC film tapes with pres- sure-sensitive adhesive 2 Normative references The following standards contain provisions which, through referenc

11、e in this Standard, constitute provisions of this Standard. If the indication of the year of coming into effect (or the year of issue) is given to these referred stan- dards, only the edition of indicated year constitutes the provision of this Standard, but the revision and amendment made thereafter

12、 are not applied. The normative references without the indication of the year of coming into effect (or the year of issue) shall apply limiting only to the most recent edition (including the amendment). This is only the change in number and the contents remain unchanged. 3 Definitions a) pressure-sensitive adhesive tapes Tapes whose one side is coated with an adhesive which maintain adhesiveness permanently at room temperature. They are adhered on various types of differe

21、as the maximum permissible working tem- perature in the insulation function of the ma- terial. 5 Requirements 5.1 Appearance The tape shall be uniformly wound into a roll without remark- able deformation and gapping, shall have flat surfaces on both sides and shall be free from such defects detrimen

22、tal to practical service as adhesive transfer when unwinding, folds and flaws. The appearance shall be checked visually. The test for peeling off of adhesives shall be performed in such a way that the tape is rewound at a rate of 1 m per 3 s to 5 s to check if the adhesive transfer to the back surfa

23、ce. 5.2 Performances The performances of tapes shall be comformed with the speci- fication in Table 1 when the tests are carried out in accordance with 6. 31、B9 to B12 in the test results. The exposure temperatures shall be: 85 O C , 100 O C and 120 O C for types B1 to B4; 100 O C , 110 O C and 120 O C for types B5 to B8; 120 O C , 130 O C and 140 O C for types B9 to B12; End-point criteria shall be as stated below. The end-point criterion for types B1 t

32、o B4 shall be breakdown voltage of 2.5 kV (metal foil electrode method). The end-point criteria for types B5 to B12 shall be breakdown voltage of 2 . 5 kV (metal foil electrode method) and loss of mass of 20 %. Remarks 1 One cut line may exist in a roll but the cut line shall not lie within 2 m from

33、 both ends. 2 A core with an inner diameter of 25 mm or more shall be used as the core of tape. 5.3 Color Tapes may be transparent, semitransparent or opaque, and may be colored or non-colored. For colored tapes, 12 colors i.e. black, white, blue, green, yellow, brown, orange, red, purple, gray, sky

34、 blue and pink may be used. 6 Test methods The test methods stated in JIS C 2107 shall be followed. 7 Packing and marking 7.1 Packing The individual rolls of tape shall be packed in such a manner that: a) b) c) They are protected from moisture, dust and sunlight. They can easily be separated. They a

35、re reasonably protected from damage under normal transit conditions. 7.2 Marking on tape The manufacturers name or suppliers name shall be marked on each roll of tape. 36、999 7.3 Marking on batch packaging (outer packaging) The following matters shall be marked on each batch packaging (outer packaging): a) Name b) Type or designation c) d) Quantity e) Color Dimensions (thickness x width x length) f) “This side upward” or similar indication so that the rolls of tape w

37、ill be firmly positioned in the correct direction during storage. 7.4 Caution for handling Because the quality of tapes is liable to be affected by the temperature, pressure, etc., it is desirable to keep the following items during the storage and handling: a) b) To avoid places with direct sunlight
