8、Pipes Introduction This Standard is the Japanese Industrial Standard prepared based on IS0 2531 Ductile iron pipes, fittings, .accessories and their joints for water or gas applications, published in 1998 as the fifth edition, in such a manner that the corresponding parts in the corresponding Intern

9、ational Standard are contained without modifying the technical content. 1 Scope This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the ductile iron pipes (hereafter referred to as “pipes”) used for carrying water and the like, under pressure or non-pressure, through the pipes buried underground or laid on

10、the ground. The pipes are manufactured by dissolving the appropriate raw materials to ductile iron, carrying out the optimum treatment for spheroidizing of graphite as cast, pouring into the mould and applying the centrifugal force. Further, if necessary, the pipes shall be heat-treated for annealin

Remarks : The corresponding International Standard is as follows : IS0 2531 : 1998 Ductile iron pipes, fittings, accessories and their joints for water or gas applications. 2 Normative references The following standards contain provisions which, through reference in this Standard, co
