Scope Symbol S This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies valves to be used mainly for dissolved acetylene cylinders specified in JIS B 8234, hereinafter referred to as the “valves. Remark: The units and numeric
5、al values given in based on the traditional unit system and are currently the criteria in force. in this Standard are 2. Classification The classification of the valve shall be as given in Table 1. 6、ing operation of the valve shall be simple and smooth. 3.2 Pressure Resisting Characteristic The valve element shall be free from leakage or other defects when subjected to hydrostatic, pneumatic or inert gas pressure not less than 4.9 MPa 50 kgf/cmZ. 3.3 Airtightness The valve shall show no sign of
7、 leakage from any checked portion when subjected to the airtightness test specified in Table 2 using air or inert gas. 17、plying with the requirement of 3.4 shall be used, and the diameter of discharge part shall be 4 mm or more, and the discharge angle shall be within 30“ upward from the axis of valve. 5. Appearance The valves shall be adequately finished and free from flaws, cracks, rust, burrs or other defects injur
18、ious to practical use. Further, foreign matters such as chips shall not be found. 6. Material The material used for the valve element shall be C 3771 in JIS H 3250, SF 40 in JIS G 3201, S 25 C in JIS G 4051 or those equivalent to them in quality. However, copper or copper alloy more than 62 % in cop
19、per content shall not be used for the valve element or part. 7. InsDection Inspection shall be made on performance, dimensions, construction, appearance and material, and the results shall comply with the requirements of 3. to 6. However, inspections of 3.2 and 3.5 shall be made when the valve is ne
20、wly designed and manufactured, when remodeled or modified, or as occasion needs. 8. Designation of Product The designation of valve shall be made by JIS number or title of Standard and the symbol of type of valve.
