27、dustrial Standard has been prepared based on IEC 60265-1 High-voltage switches Part 1 : High-voltage switches for rated voltages above 1 kV and less than 52 kV published in 1983 as the first edition together with Amend- ment 1 (1984) and Amendment 2 (19941, including the specifications cited from IE

28、C 60694 Common specifications for high-voltage switchgear and controlgear standards which is normative reference of IEC 60265-1 and published in 1996 as the second edition, without modifying the technical contents. Concerning the applicable volt- age range, the voltage is limited to be 3.3 kV or 6.6

29、 kV by taking the actual state of distribution voltage in Japan into consideration. The portions of this Standard shown by sidelines or dotted underlines are the matters not stated in the corresponding International Standards. 1 Scope and object 1.1 Scope This Standard is applicable to manually or e

30、lectrically operated three- phase a.c. switches and switch-disconnectors designed for indoor and outdoor instal- lation for a nominal voltage of 3.3 kV or 6.6 kV, at a frequency 50 .-._._ Hz or 60 Hz, for a short-circuit current not exceeding 12.5 kA and a rated current not exceeding 600 A. Remarks
