8、 published in 1965 by changing partially a part of its technical contents and including the items not included in the corresponding International Standard (inspection, designation and marking of products) as the Japanese Industrial Standard. 1 Scope This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the di

9、al gauges of 0.01 mm, 0.002 mm and 0.001 mm in scale interval and 100 times, 500 times and 700 times or more in magnification (hereafter referred to as “dial gauge”). This applies to the dial gauges of 60 mm or under in outer frame and 10 mm or under in measuring range in the case of 0.01 mm and 0.0

10、02 mm in scale interval and 5 mm or under in measuring range in the case of 0.001 mm in scale internai. 2 Normative reference The following standards contain provisions which, through refer- ence in this Standard, constitute provisions of this Standard. The latest editions of them apply * JIS Z 8103

25、 Function The function of dial gauges shall be as follows : When the plunger is pressed in, the long pointer shall move in a clockwise direction. The long pointer shall be tightly fixed so as not to slip ever if the plunger receives rapid acceleration or slowing-down. When the plunger is in the lowe

The movement exceeding the specified measuring range shall be 1/5 of a revolution or more. In order to minimize parallax, th

The contact point shall be interchangeable, have a wear-resistant end of spherical form and be surface-treated with regard to the applicati

If not equipped with clamp, sufficient frictional resistance to the rotation is required. The stem shall have sufficient strength not a

The short pointer shall be of the construction to indicate the number of revolutions of the long pointer or the effective stroke of the plunger.
