3、y, Trade and Industry through deliberations at the Japanese Industrial Standards Committee, as the result of proposal for revision of Japanese Industrial Standard submitted by the Japan Electric Lamp Manufacturers Association (JELMA)/the Japanese Standards Association (JSA) with the draft being atta

4、ched, based on the provision of Article 12 Clause 1 of the Industrial Standardization Law applicable to the case of revision by the provision of Article 14. Consequently JI$ C 7525 : 1992 is replaced with this Standard. JIS C 7525 : 1992 specified the performances of these lamps together with their

5、safety, but such a revision has been made at this time, in order to make conformity of Japanese Industrial Standard and International Standard (IEC) in their systems, that this Standard specifies only the performance requirements and dimensions, and JIS C 7551-1 : 1999 shall be referred for the safe

6、ty requirements. Attention is drawn to the possibility that some parts of this Standard may conflict with a patent right, application for a patent after opening to the public, utility model right or application for registration of utility model after opening to the public which have technical proper

15、 with the safety requirements for general lighting incandescent lamps specified in Section 2 Safety requirements of JIS C 7551-1 and also satisfy the fol- lowing conditions: Rated power consumption 40 W or over up to and including 200 W Rated voltage 100 v Shape of glass bulb Type R Remarks : The sh

16、ape and name of glass bulb are in accordance with JIS C 7710. Cap E26/25 Remarks : The type and dimensions of cap are in accordance with JIS C 7709-1. 1.2 Normative references The following standards contain provisions which, through reference in this Standard, constitute provisions of this Standard

Section 2 Data sheet of lamp 2.1 Type designation and data sheet number of lamp The type designation of lamp and the data sheet number by which the lamp is specified shall be as stated in Table 1. Section 3 Performances, dimensions and safety 3.1 a b) Performances The performances shall be as f

33、ollows: Initial characteristics When the tests are carried out in accordance with An- nex 1 (normative), the initial characteristics shall be such that the maximum luminous intensity and the beam flux shall be not less than 80 % of those speci- fied in the data sheet. However, they shall be not less

34、 than 75 % for white coated lamps. The wattage shall not exceed 104 % of the rated wattage specified in the data sheet plus 0.5 W. Life When the test is carried out in accordance with Annex 1 (normative), the life shall be such that the individual value is not less than 70 % of, and the mean value i

35、s not less than 96 % of the rated life specified in the data sheet.
