5、rm of Specifications A 8504-1978 of Earth Augers (Reaffirmed: 1983) 1. Scope This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies standard form and main points for preparing specifications of earth augers. Remark: The units and numerical values given in in this standard are in accordance with the Internation

6、al System of Units (SI), and are appended for reference. 2. Division This standard is divided into the standard form and main points for preparing the specifications. 3. Standard Form of Specifications 3.1 The specifications shall follow the standard form of Attached Tab le. 3.2 The specifications s

7、hall indicate outline of the various items and performances of earth augers, and the items may be selected to meet the purpose when a specification is prepared. Further, the construction, materials, test method and the like of each part may be added as occasion demands. 3.3 demands. Such drawings as

9、rtical type or horizontal type shall be written. 4.3.2 Travelling System The classification of crawler type or tyre type and also the classification of mobile type or trailer type shall be written. 4.3.3 Type of Tower The classification of direct support type, monolithic truss type or erected pillar

11、 Screw The classification of screw types such as continuous screw type shall be written. 4.4 Dimensions 4.4.1 Overall Height The height from the rail surface or surface of earth up to the highest end of the body with the tower raised vertically shall be written. 4.4.2 Overall Width The maximum width

12、 of body shall be written. For the machine equipped with outrigger, the maximum width when the outrigger is in service shall also be written. I 4.4.3 Overall Length The maximum length of body shall be written. Provided that, the auger screw and auger head are excluded. 4.4.4 Length of Tower The leng

13、th from lower end to the highest end of tower shall be written. 4.4.5 Swing Radius The maximum swing radius of the swing part shall be written. (i) The Front Part (2) The Back Part 4.4.6 Operating Radius The distance between centre line of rotation and auger screw centre shall be written. 4.4.7 4.4.

14、8 Truck Gauge Centre Distance of Crawler The distance between Distance between Auger Screw Centre and Pointed End of Body right and left crawler centres shall be written. 4.4.9 Width of Crawler Shoe 4.4.10 Centre Distance of Tumbler The standard distance between centres of drive tumbler and idle tum

15、bler shall be written. 4.4.11 Wheel Base The horizontal centre distance between axles shall be written. When the machine is equipped with dual axles, the centre distance of dual axles and the distance from single axle t o the centre of dual axles shall be written, and if the front and rear axles are

16、 both dual axles, the centre distance of each dual axles shall also be written. 4.4.12 Track Tread The centre distance (in the case of dual tyres, its centre) of right and left tyres shall be written.
