Scope This Japanese Industrial
4、 Standard specifies the trip balances and weights to be used with attached thereto. Remark: The trip balance in this standard means the balance of which weight application point and load application point are at the equal distance relative to fulcrum as center, of which pans are above the weight app
5、lication point and load application point respectively, and which is to judge the balance by the pointer and graduated panel. manual balance in the type of massmeter specified in the Measuring Instrument Qualification Inspection Ordinance (Cabinet Ordinance No. 152, in 1967). This balance correspond

Definitions For the purposes of this standard the definitions specified in JIS Z 8103 apply, together with the following definitions: (1) weighing capacity The maximum mass capable of being measured. (2) reciprocal sensibility The mass sufficient to cause variation of not less than 1

Classification The classification of t r i p balances shall be de
13、pendent on weighing capacity and reciprocal sensibility as shown i n Table 1. 15、ces and Inspection Methods The performances and inspection methods of t r i p balances shall be i n accordance with the following: (1) When the load of reciprocal sensibility is applied on one side pan under the state where the same masses in the working range are applied on right and l e f t pans,

The weights t o be used for inspection shall be those of which tolerances of mass are not more than 1/5 of

21、n the centers of right and l e f t pans from the rest points when the weights are placed as shown i n Fig. 2. Fig. 2. Measurement of Eccentric-placing Errors (4) The difference of rest points under blank load before and a f t e r measurement shall not exceed half the reciprocal sensibility. 6. Const
22、ruction and Dimensions The construction and dimensions of the t r i p balance shall. be as follows: The balance shall be provided with a beam and a sub-beam as the mechanism for overturning prevention for pans. The pan stop shall be supported on two positions respectively of the weight application p
23、oint or measuring load application point. The weight application point and measuring load application point shall be at the same distance with the fulcrum as center. The pointer shall oscilate with the center l i n e of graduated panel as center. The t i p of pointer shall move by not less than the
24、graduation range of the graduated panel. The thickness of indicating part of the pointer shall be not more than 1/5 of scale spacing. The interval between the pointer and the graduated panel shall be not more than 1 mm for the weighing capacity of not more than 1 kg, and not more than 2 mm for the w
25、eighing capacity exceeding 1 kg. The dimensions of the pan shall bein accordance with Table 2. 30、nimum scale spacing, (14) The thickness of the graduated line of the graduated panel shall be not less than 0.1 mm and not more than 1/6 of the scale spacing. 7. Materials and Hardness The materials and the hardness of main parts of the t r i p balance shall be those given i n Table 4 or those equal
