3、ade and Industry through deliberations at the Japanese Industrial Standards Committee, as the result of proposal for revision of Japanese Industrial Standard submitted by The Japan Electrical Manufacturers Association (JEMA) with the draft being attached, based on the provision of Article 12 Clause

4、1 of the Industrial Standardization Law applicable to the case of revision by the provision of Article 14. Consequently JIS C 9219 : 1993 is replaced with this Standard. Attention is drawn to the possibility that some parts of this Standard may conflict with a patent right, application for a patent

18、torage tank water heaters of push-up type used at the maximum working pressure not exceeding 0.1 MPa with the rated power consumption not exceeding 10 kW (hereaf- ter referred to as ?water heaters?). 2 Normative references The following standards contain provisions which, through reference in this S

31、bnormal hydraulic pressure appears in the tank and pipe line, or which discharges the water whose volume has been expanded due to heating by electrical current to keep the pressure head inside the tank always not more than 0.1 MPa (see JIS B 8414) tank capacity the volume of the tank to store water

32、4 Classification Water heaters are classified as given in table 1 according to their construction. Water heaters which serve indoors and also outdoors are considered as outdoor water heaters. 34、voltage shall be 300 V or less for single or three phase a.c. The rated frequency shall be 50/60 Hz compatible. For the appliance with the rated power consumption of over 2 kW up to and in- cluding 10 kW, the rated voltage shall be 200 V or more. Tolerance 6 Performance 6.1 Voltage fluctuation chara

35、cteristic When the test is carried out by the method of 9.2.2 (hereafter in the test of 9.2.2) the voltage fluctuation characteristic shall be such that the water heater can be used without any practical trouble. 6.2 Power consumption In the test of 9.2.3, the deviation of the measured power consump

36、tion from the rated power consumption shall be within the tolerances speci- fied in table 2. kW 1 or under Over 1 up to and incl. 10 6.3 Insulation resistance shall be not less than 1 Mil. 43、 not exceed 150 OC, the specimen and the wooden base shall not burn and the insulation resistance shall be not less than 0.1 MQ. Further, in case of the abnormal temperature test with the tank filled up with water, the water temperature shall not exceed 100 OC. Abnormal temperature 6.9 Automatic tem

44、perature control In the test of 9.2.10, the automatic tem- perature control shall show no abnormalities at any part and shall comply with each of the following requirements: a) The average of the measured values before the test shall be within k 5 O C from the set temperature. The average of the mea

45、sured values after the test shall be within i 5 “C from the average value before the test. b) 6.10 Temperature limiter When the temperature limiter is tested by the method of 9.2.11 a), the average value of the temperatures at open circuit shall fall within f 15 “C from the set temperature, and when

46、 tested by method of 9.2.11 b), the appa- ratus shall show no abnormalities in any part and the average value of the tempera- tures at open circuit shall fall within F 5 “C from the average value before the test.
