Scope This standard provides for ships footsteps. 2. Classification The footsteps shall be classified by the secti
6、onal form of steel bar into two types, A (round) and B (square). 3. Shape and Dimensions The shape and dimensions shall be as shown in the Figure. 4. Material The materials shall be steel round bar or steel square bar. 5 . Designation The footsteps shall be designated by title, type and nominal size
7、 x d (or b). JIS number may be used in place of the title. Example: Ships Footstep A 250 x 19 or JIS F 2601 A 250 x 19 Reference: The vertical spacing of ships footsteps, as a rule, be 340 mm.
