3、and Industry through delibera- tions at the Japanese Industrial Standards Committee as the result of proposal for revision of Japanese Industrial Standard submitted by The Japan Magne- sium Association (JMA)/Japanese Standards Association (JSA) with the draft being attached, based on the provision o

4、f Article 12 Clause 1 of the Industrial Standardization Law applicable to the case of revision by the provision of Article 14. Consequently JIS H 4203:1998 is replaced with this Standard. This Standard has been made based on IS0 3116:2001, Magnesium and magne- sium alloys - Wrought magnesium alloys

5、and IS0 7773: 1983, Magnesium alloys -Round bars and tubes -Dimensional tolerances for the purposes of making it easier to compare this Standard with International Standard; to prepare Japa- nese Industrial Standard conforming with International Standard; and to pro- pose a draft of an International

6、 Standard which is based on Japanese Industrial Standard. Attention is drawn to the possibility that some parts of this Standard may con- flict with a patent right, application for a patent after opening to the public, utility model right or application for registration of utility model after openin

7、g to the public which have technical properties. 14、S -,-,- JAPANESE INDUSTRIAL STANDARD JIS H 4203 : 2005 Magnesium alloy bars Introduction This Japanese Industrial Standard has been, for the classes and its symbols, quality, test and inspection, prepared based on IS0 3116 Magnesium and magnesium alloys- Wrought magnesium alloys, published in 2001 a

15、s the third edition, and for dimension tolerance based on IS0 7773 Magnesium alloys-Round bars and tubes-Dimensional tolerances, published in 1983 as the first edition, with some modi- fications of the technical contents. Dimensions, inspection and marking not specified in corresponding Internationa

16、l Standards are added as the Japanese Industrial Standard. Portions underlined with dots are the modified items of original International Stan- dards. Comparison table is given in annex (informative) with its explanations. 1 Scope This Standard specifies magnesium alloy bars wjth-a-cjrcul-a.r,-.r-ec

33、erances of dimensions shall be as follows. a) When the length of bars is specified by the agreement between the manufacturer and the purchaser and its diameter is not exceeding 50 mm and the length 2 O00 mm to 6 O00 mm, the length tolerance of bars shall be in the range of f - : : . . m m .
