3、de and Industry through deliberations at the Japanese Industrial Standards Committee, as the result of proposal for revision of Japanese Industrial Standard submitted by the Japan Iron and Steel Federation (JISF) with the draft being attached, based on the provision of Article 12 Clause 1 of the Ind

4、ustrial Standardization Law applicable to the case of revision by the provision of Article 14. Consequently JIS G 3311 : 1998 is replaced with this Standard. Attention is drawn to the possibility that some parts of this Standard may conflict with a patent right, application for a patent after openin

13、DUSTRIAL STANDARD JIS G 3311 : 2004 Cold rolled special steel strip 1 Scope This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the cold rolled special steel strip (hereafter referred to as “steel strip”). This Standard also applies to cut pieces of steel strip. 2 Normative references The standards given in

14、 attached table 1 contain provi- sions which, through reference in this Standard, constitute provisions of this Stan- dard. The most recent editions of the standards (including amendments) shall be applied. 3 Type symbols The steel strip shall be classified into 38 kinds and the type symbols shall b

19、, carry out cold rolling after hot rolling and allow it to be as cold rolled, or annealed after cold rolling. 5 Chemical composition 5.1 cast analysis shall be as given in table 2. Cast analysis The steel strip shall be tested in accordance with 10.1 and the 5.2 Product analysis When the product ana

20、lysis is requested by the purchaser, the test shall be carried out in accordance with 10.1. The values given in table 2 and tolerance values in attached table 3 or 4 of JIS G 0321 shall be applied. How- ever, attached table 3 shall be applied to carbon steel and carbon tool steel, and the attached t

21、able 4 to alloy tool steel, chromium steel, nickel chromium steel, nickel chromium molybdenum steel, chromium molybdenum steel, spring steel and manga- nese steel.
