Scope This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies heat-resisting steel bars (round bars, square bars, hexagonal bars and flat bars, hereafter generically referred t o as bars). The heat resisting steel bars include heat resisting steel wire rods (hereafter refe

7、rred to as wire rods). Further, among the stainless steel specified in J I S G 4303 and J I S G 4308, those given in Table 1 with the symbol of SUS may be used as heat resisting steel bars and wire rods. required. Chemical compositio

15、n 0 3.1 Ladle analysis Bars and wire rods shall be subjected to the test of 9.1 and their ladle analysis shall be as given in Tables 2 to 4 . 3.2 Product analysis When the product analysis of bars and wire rods are required by the purchaser, the analysis test of 9 . 1 shall be carried out and the va

Mechanical DroDerties Bars shall be subjected t o the mechanical test of 9.2 and their mechanical properties shall be as follows. However, those provisions shall

24、 not be applied t o wire rods. (1) Mechanical properties of austenitic series The proof stress, tensile strength, elongation, reduction of area, and hardness of solution treated bars and of the bar itself or their test pieces which have been aging treated after solution treatment shall be as given i

25、 n Table 5. I n these cases, the test specimen shall be class A of JIS G 0303. The proof stress, however, shall be applied only when specified by the purchaser.
