Mechanical properties and mechanical properties thereof shall be as follows. Steel bars shall be subjected t o the test of 9.2 (1) The proof stress, tensile

16、strength, elongation, reduction of area, hardness and the Charpy absorption energy of the steel bars subjected to the quenching-tempering and the stress relief annealing shall be as given in Table 4. (2) The steel bars subjected t o the annealing, unless otherwise specified, shall be tested only on

Appearance The appearance shall be as follows. (1) The steel bars shal

38、l be free from scales and defects harmful t o use. (2) The permissible l i m i t of flaw depth of the hot rolled steel bars shall be as given i n Table 6. 40、ser and supplier. 7. Manufacturing process The manufacturing process shall be as follows. (1) The steel bars shall be manufactured from the killed steel ingot. If necessary, the vacuum remelting process shall be applied. (2) A sufficient discard shall be made so as t o remove injurious piping and un

41、due segregation from the ingot. (3) The steel bars shall be manufactured by hot rolling, hot forging or cold finishing. When requested by the purchaser, the cold finishing shall be performed. (4) The steel bars shall be subjected t o pickling or blasting t o remove the scale. 8. Heat treatment The h

42、eat treatment shall be as follows. (1) The steel bars, when requested by the purchaser, shall be subjected t o the heat treatment either of annealing or quenching-tempering. case, the tempering temperature shall be 455OC or higher. In this (2) For the straightened steel bars, the stress relief annea

43、ling shall be applied by reheating them t o temperature not lower than 55OC below the above-mentioned tempering temperature. 9. Tests 9.1 Analysis test The analysis test shall be as follows. (1) General matters of the analysis test and the sampling for the cast analysis shall be as specified in 3. o

44、f JIS G 0303. (2) In the case of the vacuum remelting, the analyses shall be performed for the vacuum remelted ingots representing the f i r s t , middle and the last ingots of each melting i n the atmosphere. Further, the analyses of carbon and manganese shall be performed for the remelted ingots o

45、f all the ingots which are the remainder of the melting i n the same atmosphere. (3) The sampling for the product analysis shall be as specified i n 3. of JIS G 0321. the analysis as the sample.
