3、ginal Japanese Industrial Standard revised by the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry through deliberations at the Japanese Industrial Standards Committee, as the result of proposal for revision of Japanese Industrial Standard submitted by The Japan Iron and Steel Federation (JISF) with the draf
4、t being attached, based on the provision of Article 12 Clause 1 of the Industrial Standardization Law applicable to the case of revision by the provision of Article 14. Consequently JIS G 4109 : 1987 is replaced with this Standard. In this revision it is revised to correspond to the newest technolog
5、y development and to the market demands: for example, to make the thickness allowance of plate more strict to match JIS G 3193, to reexamine the chemical composition restriction with a mind to match ASTM A 387, which corresponds to the this Standard, and so on. Attention is drawn to the possibility
6、that some parts of this Standard may conflict with a patent right, application for a patent after opening to the public, utility model right or application for registration of utility model after opening to the public which have technical properties. 16、development and to the market demands: for example, to make the thickness allowance of plate more strict to match JIS G 3193, to reexam- ine the chemical composition restriction with a mind to match ASTM A 387-99 Pressure vessel plates, Alloy Steel, Chromium-Molybdenum, which corresponds to the this
17、 Standard, and so on. 1 Scope This Standard specifies hot-rolled chromium-molybdenum steel plates (hereafter referred to as “steel plates”) to be used for boilers and pressure vessels, excluding those to be used at low temperature. 2 Normative references The standards listed in Attached Table 1 cont
18、ain pro- visions which, through reference in this Standard, constitute provisions of this Standard. The most recent editions of the standards (including amendments) shall be applied. 3 Classification, strength divisions and symbols The classification, strength divisions and symbols of steel plates s
19、hall be as follows: a) Symbols of classification Steel plates shall be classified into six classifca- tions, and the classification symbols shall be as given in Table 1. Strength division Steel plates of each classification symbol specified in a) shall be further divided into two divisions depending
20、 upon mechanical proper- ties. Those with lower tensile strength shall be designated as strength divi- sion 1 and those with higher shall be designated as strength division 2, and the classification symbol shall be followed by “-1” and “-2”, respectively. b) Table 1 Symbol of classification and stre

Steel plates designated as strength division 1 shall be tested in accordance with 10.2 an

When steel plates of SCMV 4, SCMV 5 and SCMV 6 are too thin in thickness to take the No. 10 test pieces, the test pieces similar to No. 10 in which the gauge length is four times the diameter of parallel portion shall be used. Further, for
35、steel plates 20 mm or under in thickness, No. 1A test pieces may be used. In this case, the gauge length for the measurement of elongation shall be 50 mm, and the elongation shall be measured including the ruptured part. When No. 1A test pieces are used, the reduction of area shall be subtracted by

When the elongation of No. 1A test pieces of steel pla
39、tes of SCMV 1, SCMV 2 and SCMV 3 under 20 mm in thickness is equal to or more than the value obtained by subtracting 3 from the specified value given in Table 4, and if the value of elon- gation including the ruptured part in 50 mm gauge length ia 25 % or over, the product shall be accepted irrespec
40、tive of the specification in Table 4. The elongation of No. 10 test pieces of steel plates over 90 mm in thickness shall be subtracted by 0.5 % from the values given in Table 4 for each increase of 12.5 mm or its fraction in thickness. 48、more than the value obtained by subtracting 3 from the specified value given in Table 5, if the value of elon- gation including the ruptured part in 50 mm gauge length is 25 % or over, the product shall be accepted irrespective of the specification in Table 5. The elongation of No. 10 test pieces of steel plates over 90 mm in thickness shall be subtracted by 0.5 % from the values given in Table 5 for each increase of 12.5 mm or its fraction in thickness.
