Scope This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the 10 kgf/cm2 1 hlPal( l) tubular type water gauges with cocks used for boilers having m
5、aximum working pressures of not more than 10 kgf/cm2 (1 MPa), hereinafter referred to as the “water gauges“. Note (l) Remark: This indicates the nominal pressure. The units and numerical values given in I 1 in this stand- ard are in accordance with the International System of Units (SI) , and are ap
6、pended for informative reference. 2 Classification Water gauges shall be classified into those with their cock handle positioned on the left when viewed from this side (Type L) and those with their cock handle positioned on the right (Type R) (refer to Figure). ( i ) Water gauge 20 kgf/cm2 (2 MPa) (2) Ground joint surface o
11、f cock 16 kgf/cm2 (1.6 MPa) 4. Construction , Shape, and Dimensions The construction, shape, and dimensions shall be as shown in Appended Fig. 1 and further be in accordance with the following each No. The names of the respective parts of water gauges shall be as shown in Appended Fig. 2. The upper
12、and lower bodies shall respectively be provided with a cock. The emergency shut-off device shall be of the ball type for the lower part, and be a restricting metal part for the upper part as a rule. Water gauges shall as a rule be provided with a protecting cylinder. The flanges shall conform to the
13、 one 10 mm in nominal diameter specified in JIS B 2210. The drain cock shall conform to the one 10 mm in nominal diameter specified in JIS F 7387. The permissible deviations in the wall thickness of the upper and lower bodies shall, as a rule, be 2; % (minimum value, O .5 mm) . The tubular type glas
14、s used for water gauges shall conform to the one of 16 mm or 19 mm in outer diameter specified in JIS B 8211.
