2、l Japanese Indus- trial Standard revised by the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry through deliberations at the Japanese Industrial Standards Committee as the result of proposal for revision of Japanese Industrial Standard submitted by The Japan Iron and Steel Federation (JISF) with the draft b

3、eing attached, based on the provision of Article 12 Clause 1 of the In- dustrial Standardization Law applicable to the case of revision by the provision of Article 14. Consequently JIS G 313611994 is replaced with this Standard. This revision has been made based on ISO/DIS 24314:2005 Structizral ste

4、els -Seismic improved structural steels for building- Technical deliv- ery conditions for the purpose of making it easier to compare this Stan- dard with International Standard; to prepare Japanese Industrial Stan- dard conforming with International Standard; and to propose a draft of an Internation

5、al Standard which is based on Japanese Industrial Stan- dard. In this case, the fol

12、lowing matters shall also be satisfied. a) The width tolerances for the cut-edged steel plate and coil and the length toler- ances for the steel plate shall be in accordance with Class A tolerance given in JIS G 3193 unless otheiwise specified. b) The tolerances on thickness for the steel plate and

13、coil shall be as given in table 9. c) The tolerances on thickness for the steel flat shall be as given in table 10. d) The tolerances on thickness for the section steel shall be as given in tables 11 and 12. 23、mical analysis 11.1.1 General requirements for chemical analysis and sampling method of specimen for analysis The chemical composition of the steel products shall be determined by cast analysis, and the general requirements for chemical analysis and the sampling method of specimen for analysis shall

24、 be as specified in clause 8. (Chemical composi- tion) of JIS G 0404. 11.1.2 with JIS G 0320. 11.2 Mechanical test 11.2.1 General requirements General requirements for mechanical testing shall be as specified in clause 9 (Mechanical properties) of JIS G 0404. With this respect, the sampling method o

25、f specimen shall conform to Class A specified in 7.6 (Sampling con- ditions and test pieces) of JIS G 0404, and number of test pieces and sampling posi- tions shall be as follows: a Number of tensile test pieces Analytical method The method for chemical analysis shall be in accordance The number of

26、tensile test pieces shall be as follows: Steel plate and flat A test lot shall consist of the steel products from one heat where the maximum thickness is within twice the minimum thickness, and one tensile test piece shall be taken therefrom. When the mass of one test lot exceeds 50 t, however, two

27、tensile test pieces shall be taken. With this respect, if a single steel plate exceeds 50 t, one test piece shall be taken from the said plate. Steel coil and cut-to-lengths therefrom A test lot shall consist of the steel prod- ucts from one heat rolled to the same thickness, and one tensile test pi

28、ece shall be taken therefrom. When the mass of one test lot exceeds 50 t, however, two tensile test pieces shall be taken. Section steel A test lot shall consist of the section steels from one heat rolled to the same sectional profile where the maximum thickness is within twice the minimum thickness

29、, and one tensile test piece shall be taken therefrom. When the mass of one test lot exceeds 50 t, however, two tensile test pieces shall be taken. Number of test pieces for heat treated steel products The number of test pieces for the heat treated steel products composed of the same heat rolled to

30、the same sectional profile subjected to heat treatment under the same treatment conditions shall be determined in accordance with i), 2) or 3). b) Number of impact test pieces For the steel products which have not been heat treated, one specimen shall be taken from the maximum thickness product of a

31、 test lot composed of the same heat rolled to the same sectional profile, while for the steel products having been heat treated, one specimen shall be taken from the maximum thickness product of a test lot composed of the same heat rolled to the same sectional profile subjected to heat treatment und

Sampling position of tensile test piece The sampling position of tensile test piece shall conform to JIS G 0416. However, annex 3 may b

33、e applied. The test piece for steel coil shall be sampled from a position adjacent to a material part to be evalu- ated. Further, when a test piece can not be sampled from a specified position, sam- pling shall be performed near the specified position. Sampling position of impact test piece The samp

34、ling position of an impact test piece shall conform to JIS G 0416. Further, annex 3 may be applied. Furthermore, the sampling position in plate thickness direction of steel plate shall be in accor- dance with JIS G 0416 annex A figure A.1l.a) for 5 40 mm thickness, and JIS G 0416 annex A figure A 1l

35、.b) for 40 mm thickness. When a test piece can not be sampled from a specified position, sampling shall be performed near the specified position. 11.2.2 a) No. 1 A or No. 4 test piece specified in JIS Z 2201. b) V notch test piece specified in clause 6 (Test piece) JIS Z 2242. In this case, the notc

36、h shall be perpendicular to the rolled surface. Test piece The tensile test piece and impact test piece shall be as follows: 11.2.3 a Tensile test method shall be as specified in JIS Z 2241. b) Impact test method shall be as specified in JIS Z 2242. 11.2.4 Tensile test in the case where tensile test

37、 piece can not be taken as specified due to the dimensions In the case where it is impracticable to take a test piece as specified due to the dimensions, matters on execution of the tensile test, testing values or the like shall be as agreed upon between the purchaser and the supplier. 11.3 Through-

38、thickness characteristics test The test method for the through-thickness characteristics shall be as given in JIS G 3199. 11.4 0901. Test method The method for tensile test and impact test shall be as follows: Ultrasonic test The method for the ultrasonic test shall be as given in JIS G 12 Inspectio

39、n The inspection shall be carried out as follows: a General requirements for inspection shall be as specified in JIS G 0404. b) The chemical composition shall conform to the requirements specified in clause 4. c) The carbon equivalent or chemical composition on sensitivity of welding crack shall con

40、form to the requirements specified in clause 5. d) The mechanical properties shall conform to the requirements specified in clause 6. e) The ultrasonic test results shall conform to the requirements specified in clause 7. 41、ll conform to the requirements specified in clause 8. The appearance shall conform to the requirements specified in clause 9. Retest The steel product which has not passed the tensile test may be retested in accor- dance with 9.8 (Retest) in JIS G 0404, and then it may be determined whether it is ac

42、ceptable or not. The steel product which has not passed the impact test specified in 9.6 (Assessment of results of sequential tests) of JIS G 0404 may be retested in accordance with 9.8 (Retest) in JIS G 0404, and then it may be determined whether it is acceptable or not. A retest on through-thickne

43、ss characteristics test shall be carried out in accordance with 7.4 (Supplementary test) of JIS G 3199. The steel products which have not passed the mechanical test may be again sub- jected to the mechanical test after heat-treatment or reheat-treatment, and then it may be determined whether they ar

44、e acceptable or not. The retest shall be carried out as follows: Marking The steel products which has passed the inspection shall be marked on each piece or each handle with the following items by suitable means. However, a part of the items may be omitted subjected to the agreement between the purc

45、haser and the supplier. a) Symbol of grade (including symbols which express execution of ultrasonic test and heat treatment) Heat number or inspection number b) c) Dimensions d) Quantity or mass of each bundle (for steel plate and coil) e) Manufacturers name or identii, E; mo - a PROTECTED BY COPYRI
