Scope This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the test method for cold crushing strength of refractory bricks. Remarks 1. Applicable standa

5、rds to this Standard are shown in the followings: JIS R 2202 Methods of Measuring Dimensions of Refractory Bricks JIS Z 8401 Rules for Rounding off of Numerical Values 2. The units and numerical values given in 1 in this Standard are in accordance with the traditional units, and are appended for inf

6、ormative reference. 2. Apparatus 2.1 Drying equipment The thermostat with automatic thermo-regulator capable of maintaining the temperature at 105 to 120C shall be used. 2.2 Compression testing machine The compression testing machine shall be as follows: (1) The testing machine must have the maximum

7、 crushing capacity of at least 50 t minimum with a variable oil pressure system without transmitting pulsation to a platen during application of load. The tolerance on graduation shall be *-&j for respective load. (2) 3) The platen must be of polished heat-treated steel with the hardness of not less

8、 than 70 of Shore. 4) The pressed surface must be provided with a spherical seat and the testing machine must be so constructed as to permit the upper and lower platens to be parallel during loading. 2.3 Length gauge 0.5 mm shall be used. The length gauge capable of measuring to the nearest 0 2.4 We

11、6-1991 3.2 When it is not possible to take the above stated test piece, take from the refractory bricks to be tested the largest cubical sample whereby two specified test pieces are obtained, and let that be the test piece. perpendicular to the loading direction when the sample refractory brick was

Operation 4.1 The capacity of the testing machine shall be so adjusted that the load tested is within 15 to 85 % of that of the testing machine. 4.2 The test piece shall be used after previously being dried to a constant weight ( I ) at 105 to 120C. 14、If no difference in measured mass of 1 g or more is found, it is considered a constant weight. 4.3 The dimensions of pressed surface shall have been measured preliminarily to the nearest 0.5 mm for each test piece ( 2 ) , and as required, a piece of paper shall be inserted on the pressed surface to

15、equalize the pressure. Note (2) The measurement of dimensions shall conform to JIS R 2202, as appropriate. 4.4 In testing, the pressed surface of the test piece shall be correctly placed at the centre of the spherical seat. 4.5 as standard and determine the maximum load N kgf)J when the test piece i
