This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the packaging of rolling bearings, 2. Definitions The main definitions used in this
5、standard shall be in accordance with JIS 2 0108. 3 . Materials and Container for Packaging 3.1 Item Packaging 3.1.1 Materials For the materials of item packaging, the following materials and otherwise those having good performance of rust prevention shall Polyethylene Film specified in JIS Z 1705. 6、olyethylene Treated Paper polyethylene of Class 1 specified in JIS Z 1705. Oiled Paper in JIS Z 1705. Laminated Aluminium Foils specified in JIS Z 1520. Aluminium Foils Containers It is the materials made of polyethylene of Class 3 It is the materials glued or coated with It is the oiled paper in ac

(1) Damp Proof and Water Proof Materials Polyethylene film the materials made of polyethylene of Class 3specified in
10、JIS Z 1705. The polyethylene film specified in JIS Z 1702 or Polyethylene treated paper specified in JIS Z 1514. The polyethylene treated paper Tarpaulin paper The tarpaulin paper specified in JIS Z 1503. Laminated aluminium foils in JIS Z 1520. The laminated aluminium foils specified Paraffin paper

14、.2 Containers For the container of inner packaging, corrugated fibre- board boxes or the like shall be used. 3 . 3 Outer Packaging 3 . 3.1 Containers containers shall be used. For the container of outer packaging, the following (1) Corrugated Fibreboard Boxes The corrugated fibreboard boxes specifie
15、d in JIS Z 1506. (2) Wooden Boxes The wooden boxes specified in JIS Z 1402. (3) Wirebound Boxes The wirebound boxes specified in JIS Z 1407. (4) Other containers having sufficient performance as a container for out er packaging 3 . 3 . 2 Sealing and Tying Bundling Materials For the sealing and tying
16、 bundling materials of outer packaging, the following materials shall be used, (1) Pressure Sensitive Adhesive Tapes The pressure sensitive adhesive tapes specified in JIS Z 1523or JIS Z 1524 or the like. (2) Polypropylene Band The polypropylene band specified in JIS 2 1527. ( 3) . Band Iron (4) Pap
17、er String Band The paper string band specified in JIS Z 1517. (5) Other strings or the like having sufficient strength 4 . Packaging Method The packaging of bearings shall be carried out after the pretreatment and rust-preventive treatment given in the following. At that time, cares shall be taken a
18、bout dust-tightness. (1) Pretreatment For the packaging of bearings, the bearing shall generally be cleaned in accordance with 3.2.1 of JIS Z 0303 and dried in accordance with 3 . 3 . 5 of JIS Z 0303. However, when the removement of finger print is required, the finger print shall generally be remov

22、Treatment All the surface of bearings pretreated, excepting prelubricated bearings, shall be coated using rust pre- ventive agents specified in Table. be coated using the rust preventive agents not giving injurious influence on the sealed lubricant. In the case of prelubricated bearings, all the sur
23、face thereof shall (3) Packaging The bearings treated with rust prevention shall be packaged using the packaging materials specified in 3. Reference: For the packaged freight of-bearings, drop test and rust preven- tive test are carried out according to the following methods, when required. Drop Tes
24、t The drop test of packaged freight shall be carried out regarding the shortest edge, the longest edge adjacent thereto and the maximum sur- face containing that longest edge, in this order, in accordance with JIS Z 0202. The height of drop shall be 1 m max. Rust Preventive Test After leaving the pa
25、ckaged freights having completed the drop test as they are in an environment of 40 5 2% in temperature and 90 +. 5 % in relative humidity for 5 days, the preventive test shall be carried out taking the operation where said freights are left as they are at ordinary temperature for 2 days as one cycle
26、. The cycle number of test shall be 3 cycles max. Further, when packaged freights can not be tested as they are, the test shall be carried out by a method wherein a suitable number of item packages are sampled, the item packages being packed with the materials of 3.2.1 (1) for those using that mater
27、ials and those not using that materials are left as they are.
