Scope This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the filler pumps to be used for transferring kerosene contained in polyethylene containers ( or steel drums (2) to oil burning appliances and the
5、like (hereafter referred to as the Notes (l) The polyethylene containers herein stated are those specified in JIS Z 1710. ( 2 ) The drums mean the type specified in JIS Z 1601. Remarks 1. For C 10 type pumps having the detecting element of automatic stop motion device at the end of discharge hose, the bore diameter of discharge hose is u

C 10 type pumps include the exclusive pumps for air- tight o i l tanks with automatic stop motion devices, which can supply o i l without uncapping the oil supplying caps of the airtight oil tanks of the oil burning appliances. And, airtight o i l tank means the airtight o i l tank sp
12、ecified in 4.4 (Structure of the o i l tank) in JIS S 3030. 3. Quality and performance The pumps shall prove that they have the qualities and performances which meets the requirements specified in Table 2, when they are subjected to the tests specified in 9.
