3、stry through deliberations at the Japanese Industrial Standards Committee, as the result of proposal for revision of Japanese Industrial Standard submitted by the Japan Mechanical Pencil Industry Association (JMPIA)/ the Japanese Standards Association (JSA) with the draft being attached, based on th

4、e provision of Article 12 Clause 1 of the Industrial Standard- ization Law applicable to the case of revision by the provision of Article 14. Consequently JIS S 6013 : 1995 is replaced with this Standard. This revision has been prepared based on IS0 9177-1 : 1989 Mechanical pencils-Part 1 : Classifi

5、cation, dimensions, performance requirements and testing for the purpose of conforming to the International Standard. 9、JIS S 6013 : 2002 Mechanical pencils Introduction This Japanese Industrial Standard has been made on the basis of IS0 9177-1 Mechanical pencils-Part 1 : Classification, dimensions, performance requirements and testing without modifying the technical contents of the corresponding parts (definitions,

10、classification, dimensions, quality, test methods and marking). Some clauses and contents of specification not contained in the corresponding International Standard have been added as Japanese Industrial Standard. In the clauses of specification in this Standard (definitions, classification, dimen-

11、sions, quality, test methods and marking) which correspond to the International Standard, the portions underlined with dots are the matters not contained in the corresponding International Standard. 1 Scope methods for hand-held mechanical pencils used for writing and draughting. This Standard speci

12、fies a classification, dimensions, quality and test Remarks : The International Standard corresponding to this Standard is as fol- lows. In addition, symbols which denote the degree of correspondence in the contents between the relevant International Standard and JIS are IDT (identical), MOD (modifi

13、ed), and NEQ (not equivalent) ac- cording to ISO/IEC Guide 21. 46、her than precious metals (e.g. gold and silver) and corrosion proof alloys (e.g. stainless steel). 8 Test methods 8.1 Test conditions Unless otherwise specified, the test shall be carried out at . the ordinary temperature and ordinary humidity as specified in JIS Z 8703. Fur- ther the general matter

47、s common to the chemical analysis shall be in accordance with the soecifications of JIS K 0050. 1 . The lead to be used for the test shall be HB of lead for mechanical pencil as specified in JIS S 6005. 8.2 In the test result, the numeri- cal value shall be obtained to the decimal place next to the specified value and be rounded off in accordance with the method of JIS Z 8401.
