12、 revised version of the JIS Z 3264 : 1985 Copper phosphorus brazing filler metals, after taking the contents of the second edition of IS0 3677 Filler metal for soft soldering, brazing and braze welding-Designation issued in 1992 into account. In addition to the items specified in the JIS, “Designati

13、on and Symbols” specified in IS0 3677 are adopted and coordinated without changing the technical contents. 1 Scope used for brazing, hereinafter referred to as “brazing filler metals”. This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the copper phosphorus brazing filler metais 2 Normative references a pa

14、rt of this Standard. The latest versions of those standards shall be applied. The following standards are referred to in this Standard and constitute JIS H 0321 JIS Z 3900 JIS Z 3903 General rules for inspection of non-ferrous metal materials Methods for sampling o f precious brazing filler metals M

15、ethods for chemical analysis o f copper phosphorus brazing filler metals 3 Classification chemical composition as shown in Table 1. The brazing filler metals shall be classified into 6 classes on the basis of their Table 1 Classes I Class l Chemical composition (mass % 1 Temperature (ref.) “C 1 Note

17、er metals shall be uniform in quality and free from harmful defects in use. b) The chemical composition of the brazing filler metals shall comply with Table 1, when tested in accordance with the method specified in 6. 5 Shape, dimension and tolerance a) The shapes of the brazing filler metals shall

18、be ribbon, wire, bar, granule, powder and preformed types b) The dimension and tolerance of the ribbon type brazing filler metais shall be as agreed between the c The tolerance on diameter of the wire and bar types brazing filler metals shall be &3% for 1. Other than that range shall be as agreed between the parties concerned with delivery. The tolerance for the 1 O00 mm long bar type brazing filler metals

21、 shall be &O. 5% and other than that shall be as agreed between the parties concerned with delivery. The ribbon and wire types brazing filler metals could be delivered as a coil when agreed between the parties concerned with delivery. The sizes and tolerances of the granule and powder and the prefor

22、med types brazing filler metals shall be as agreed between the parties concerned with delivery. Chemical analysis test The chemical analysis test of the brazing filler metals shall be in accordance with JIS Z 3903. 7 Inspection The inspection shall be conducted as follows : a) The quality, shape and

23、 dimension of the brazing filler metals shall meet the requirements of 4 and 5 above. However, a part of the chemical analysis test may be omitted subject to the consent between the parties concerned with delivery. b) The other general matters shall be in accordance with JIS H 0321 and JIS Z 3900. 8

24、 Packaging tion and damage during transportation and storage. The brazing filler metals shall be packaged properly to prevent possible contamina- 9 Designation of products The products shall be designated according to the classes (sym- bols), shapes and dimensions (thickness and width for ribbon typ

25、e, diameter for wire type, diameter and length for bar type, and size for granule and powder types). The dimension of the preformed type shall be as agreed between the parties concerned with delivery.
