Test material and test Piece 4.1 Preparation of test material Preparation of the test material shall be as follows. (i) Material The material

6、to be used for the test material shall be equivalent to those to be used in the practical works in terms of the kind of the material, the thickness, the heat treatment condition and the surface condition. The welding facilities such as the power source, the welding machine, and the control device to

7、 prepare the test material shall be the same as those to be used in the practical works. The welding conditions to prepare the test material shall be the same as those to be used in manufacturing the practical products. The disc electrode to be used in preparing the test material shall be the same a

Test method 5.1 In the leak test, the test piece indicated in Fig. 1 shall be placed in the restrictive fixture to restrict the deformation as indicated in Fig. 4, the compressed air of the specified pneumatic pressure is fed from the mouth piece of the te

Leakage shall be examined at the time when the pneumatic pressure reaches 0.15 MPa or at the time when t

16、he expansion reaches 20 mm, whichever comes earlier. When the test is carried out at higher pneumatic pressure, presence/absence of water leakage shall be confirmed using the hydraulic pressure in place of the pneumatic pressure for safety. In this case, the restriction of deformation is not require
